Amazing product & customer support!! Love, love,, their products!!!! If you want the best, it’s
This is the absolute BEST paint for every project I do!!!!! I have tried others but have been disappointed because they are NEVER as good as this brand! I love it! I paint furniture, some shabby chic some not. Spend the extra to get the 32 oz instead of the smaller jar because you will be using it a lot once you see how easy it is to work with! If it’s a little thick just add a teaspoon of water and shake until you have what you are looking for. This is probably my 15th order! Oh and if there are any issues or questions the owners call you and are super nice & professional!!! Can’t say enough about awesome this product and customer support is!! Go for it, you won’t be sorry!!

Started out beautifully. I loved the color so much and had ...
This will be a lengthy review.. I originally purchased this paint in Old Lace to use on my kitchen table. I have used chalk paint several times before on small projects, but this was my first one that was bigger and required more work. I sanded and stained my table top and then used the paint on the bottom part of the table. It went on beautifully. I loved the color so much and had a ton left so I felt inspired to go ahead and paint my old kitchen cabinets that I had wanted to paint forever. I started the very next day on my cabinets and noticed immediately that this time there were clumps in the paint and it was not going on as smoothly as it had on the table. The more I used it the worse it got. I thought maybe the lid had been left off or something and so I ordered more. Again, the first day I used it, perfect. I was so careful to close the lid immediately after pouring what I needed into a bowl. Onto day 2 of painting, clumps. I could see the clumps pouring out when I put it into the bowl to use. As I painted, clumps were popping up everywhere and I had to scrape them off every few strokes and try to smooth it out, which was very difficult since the paint was getting so thick and sticky and not going on smoothly at all. I'm now down to doing the second coat on the last few doors and I think I'll have to buy another container just to finish it with new paint as quickly as I can. The last door I did with my first container, I ended up having to sand down a bit and paint over due to the clumpy, streaky chunks. I don't want to have to do that with the others. I've used both DiXie Belle, and Folk Art chalk paint with no problems. In fact, my Dixie Belle paint I had from a project months ago that I used again on my chairs, and it was still a perfect consistency. I was so careful with it this time that I really don't feel that it's anything I've done to cause this. It's really upsetting as this project of doing all my kitchen cabinets was already extremely time consuming and difficult, and kitchen cabinets are kind of a focal point in a kitchen. Everyone who walks into my kitchen will see them. Really disappointed and won't be buying more of this brand.*edit* I just went out to finish my last few cabinet doors. As I was pouring the paint into my cup to begin, clumps, one the size of a grape, came pouring out. I tried to use it, telling myself I only have a few more to go, make it work. I even added a tiny bit of water to see if it would make a difference. I just can't use it, it is too sticky. So now I am forced to purchase this paint again for the 3rd time, and will just have to rush thru to finish the last of them as quickly as I can while the paint is still fresh. Also painting my bottom cabinets a different color, I had purchased the steel blue for the bottom but hadn't started them yet. Bc of my results with these I decided to use an older paint I had laying around, which is a dixie belle brand, and started yesterday. Like night and day. Went on perfectly, I do not need to do a second coat, and this paint has been sitting in my garage since early summer and is still a perfect consistency.I also now have to wait a couple days for the color I need to event be in stock so that I can finish painting and then polyurethane... so frustrating.

Great paint if you can get what you ordered. Beware!
***Update***I contacted the company and they were AMAZING!!! They quickly replaced my item and were super amazing. I should have just ordered it from the beginning from them. Save yourself stress and time, just go to their website directly.I order this item/color 3 times. First order was perfect but I needed more to finish my item. Second order came but seller sent wrong color. Third order place with the hopes of finishing but those were also crushed. Paint came as a solid mass. We tried everything to mix it but nothing worked. Now item color is out of stock. Awesome! Thx for the inconvenience. I tried calling the number on the paint can but the voicemail only gave outdated store hours and info.

A little goes a long way!
I absolutely LOVE Chalky Chicks paints! I also love their brushes. I used Old Lace on a buffet table that I added photos of in another review! Prior to buying Chalky Chicks Old Lace I had purchased a white chalk paint by Rustolem and I absolutely hated it (I didn’t think the Rustolem was easy to apply and after two coats I could still see the brown stain; it also looked like I painted it with white out liquid paper lol) I was SO PLEASED with Old Lace! Can’t wait to use it on something else!

Smooth & Easy to work with
I almost didn't buy this because of the negative reviews that complained of clumps in the paint. Fortunately, I had no such issues. My paint was smooth and just the right consistency. Very happy I bought this paint. It was very easy to apply and it looks great in my dresser.

Greatest chalk paint ever!
I have done approximately 3000 DIY projects in my home this year and I’ve used this chalk paint for nearly all of them. I painted an oak vanity with the color steel blue in my half bath. Not only is the color gorgeous (I mean, LOOK AT IT) but not a chip, scratch, ding in a year. I covered it with semi gloss polyurethane and it took me a whole whopping day to complete. There’s just something about the thickness of this paint and the ease (and joy) of applying it that makes it second to none. It really dries so smooth - I used a foam roller (which eats up so much of the paint but for that finish I’ll deal with it). No priming, sanding… just clean it and start painting.Old lace is my favorite warm white color ever! Beach wood is the most stunning sandy gray color. It’s just phenomenal paint- you have to try it!

... and I am sorry to say I am Truly disappointed weigh this paint
This is the first time I have ever written a review and I am sorry to say I am Truly disappointed weigh this paint . It is extremely running and hard to work with . I will not be buying this again. This is actually going in the garbage , what a waste of money . I did on side of my cabinets as a tester once I saw how running it was and after several coats it's still not good ...
