Too funny. I never thought a thing about it, and I record spoken-word audio for a living and tend to hear stray noises. I put my ear up to the watch (which I wear most days) and did hear it, but I don't hear it in my everyday life (or on audio files I edit). I do not wear it to bed -- so I can't answer if it would be discernible in a completely quiet bedroom.
