The good points are it's easy to set up, and easy to use. The drawbacks:1. They're very stingy with supplies. You have to buy test strips separately (Yes, I'm aware of that, but it goes along with the next item), and, the provide 2 lancet barrels, each with 5 lancets, so depending on how often a person has to check his blood sugar, they could be used up in 3 - 5 days.2. The batteries were already installed in the glucometer (who knows how long the batteries were in the glucometer), so they died after 1 week. As a result I had to buy a new set. They batteries should be left in the original packaging, and shipped uninstalled with the glucometer.
