fabric cover
I am changing my review, sole due to the customer service I received. The metal parts are very sturdy, durable and definitely can withstand South Florida Sun and rain. The fabric cover, not so lucky. Unfortunately it suffered weather damage. But customer service was superb. I never anticipated that the replacement would be so easy. I simply had to show my pic. I am sincerely grateful for the pleasant and efficient customer support/ service I received. And the replacement was delivered in excellent time. Fabric cover rips easily. Disappointed

Beautiful Pergola
Best advise-Get an Allen wrench bit for your power drill! It made life ten times easier. I couldn’t imagine cranking all those screws in my hand. That being said I pretty much put this together by myself (39 year old female). Had my son come out and help when it was time to stand things up. But it’s was not difficult. I have enjoyed this now for a few months. I’ve moved it to another patio in my backyard so I could put my pool on my round patio, and think I almost like it better there. Wherever you put this pergola, it really grounds that area and looks like quite the statement piece of structure. Love the shade when it’s needed! Overall very happy with my purchase.

You build what you pay for
Not gonna lie the assembly wasn't easy. Do not attempt with less than 3 people.I can't stress that enough. Took about 4 hours, including some time to redo some sections as the instructions are NOT clear. We were sent one wrong part which fortunately did not impact the final build. It's lightweight (100 lbs total -which is good on a deck) and we plan to anchor it down as the wind easily picks it up). It's made of aluminum which will bend easily. We bent one piece when the wind caught it during assembly and one piece was already dented. Hoping it lasts a couple of years. It looks nice at least. Here's to hoping it stays that way! Didn't need any tools except the included Allen wrench. You will need at least 2 stools! I'm not saying don't buy just saying be prepared with people and time!

Beyond Expectations
I did hire someone to install so I can’t give feedback on that but I am so impressed with this product. I attached it to my deck. It fit perfect. But the BEST part is, when it rains it retracts on its own. I think that’s a awesome feature to save from possible tearing due to water weight. I did attach outdoor lights but made sure to connect by zip tie to the cross member supports and not the track, to ensure it can continue to move freely. Hoping it lasts for years to come.

Nice
We’ve had this pergola for a few months and so far we love it. Assembly took a few hours but that was expected.. instructions were pretty simple. Weve had lots of windy, rainy days and it’s held up nicely with weights attached to the legs. Will try adding pics later

Nice pergola
One of the poles were a little dented, but it a nice looking pergola. There were a lot of pieces so you really need at least 2 people.

Looks expensive for a very affordable price
I purchased two of these for my restaurant patio. I was afraid it would look too cheap because the price is too good. My guests love these addition to the patio and it does not look cheap at all.

Accomplishes our goals
The media could not be loaded. We wanted some shade but also the ability to open to enjoy the sunshine, sky and views. We also wanted to close it when their is a storm because we get hail often and didn’t want to worry about hail damage. We think it looks great and also easy to open & close with sliding and magnets. We did use brackets to brace it to the house for extra reinforcement because of where we live we get crazy strong wind. My husband did t think it was difficult to install but definitely needed my extra set of hands!

Looks great, fits my space perfect, instructions need work.
I love the nice boost it gives my backyard! Seems very sturdy. My concern when ordering it was how it will handle high winds but now that I feel how sturdy it is, I'm confident it will stand strong and sturdy with the canopy tied closed. No parts were missing but a couple parts did have a few minor dents from shipping. No big deal. My major problem is the instructions. There are so many steps they cram into a single step and it's nearly impossible to see the exact fine details to be aware of when assembling. They can save installer time and headache if they'd put more effort into the important details to make sure the installer is aware. More time was spent going backwards and fixing little mistakes that could've been easily shown in the instructions. The design team should really consider it and stand out from the rest. Almost all canopy reviews of every brand I researched before making my purchase had the same complaints. BUT the most important thing is the product itself and this canopy I highly recommend.

I love this
If you follow the directions and lay the parts out in order it goes up easy

Very easy to assemble. Very sturdy.
Read the reviews on being hard to assemble but bought it anyway. Myself and my 5yr old grandson assembled it in about 4 hours. All bolts lined up perfect. Only needed wife to hold one pole for me while screwing next one in. My grandson was a bit upset that we couldn't use any big tools or drills on it and all that was needed was 2 Allen wrenches that they provide. Overall very glad I bought it. Recommended if wind picks up to retract awning. Will not last of you don't.

Pay close attention to instructions
It's not too bad putting together. You'll need at least 3 people and a couple ladders to make it easier. 4 people is ideal. Pay attention to the parts especially the top. The directions on the top (canopy) are not well instructed. Once up it was very nice. Put planters under the feet as anchors/stabilizers which doubled as decor. Very satisfied.

It's decent if you can put it together
The legs are hollow which allows for you to use concrete and pvc pipe to better anchor it in the ground because the flimsy pegs they give you just wont cut it on windy days. It does look nice once its up, but it took 5 of us and entire day to put it together because the instructions are absolute garbage which lead to a lot of assembly and disassembly due to having things put together wrong since we couldn't make out what the instructions were wanting. I still don't have the rain cover that goes over the canopy on it because since the instructions are so horrible they're basically non existant, in order to put that on Id have to take half the thing apart again just because 2 pieces are on backwards without us even knowing because it wasnt labeled.

Great pergola!
We purchased 2 pergolas for our patio. They are well made and offer great shade while we are outside. Not too hard to assemble but you will need 2 people to complete it

Nice pergola looks like real wood
The shipment was on time, but got some damaged on the pergola legs. Emailed seller, they respond and tried to resolve the issue immediately although the shipping for replacement parts from China took very long time to arrive. The pergola is sturdy enough for regular use, but look weak when you try to shake it to test, just don't forget to close the fabric canopy top before any coming storm unless you reinforce it for more sturdy. The fake wood color is actually really beautiful. I wish the legs were in one peace each to make them look more like real wood. I spent extra money to buy this because of that.Assemble is not hard but the pictures and directions are not very clear. Be sure to read and figure it out carefully before set it up if you don't want to redo again because of mistakes at first.
