Q: What kind of battery does remote use?

The remote uses a 3 volt battery. Looks like a "watch" battery to me.

Q: Would this work for an rgb light bar? I have the exact same remote but mine is rgb and the remote stopped working.

The remote would probably be on a different frequency but you could rewire it with the wiring harness that it comes with and it will work.

Q: can i use it for 52inch led light bar?

I used mine on a 24 inch light bar and it is working great.
