Sad to see this series end . .. But what a way to go!
he Saving Angels series has come to an end, which makes me sad. I know Tiffany probably has some amazing new idea up her sleeve that will steal my heart again, but in the mean time, I think I will mourn the loss of this one . . . and maybe go re-read Book One, Meant To Be :-)While the entire series has been great, I must say that Meant To Be will always be my very favorite. It is impossible to top the first time Krista and Mark meet and when they fell in love. Then, of course, Book 2 completely KILLED me.*Why, Mark, why??*It will come as no surprise to fellow Mark fans that I was all kinds of anxious to see what Book 3 would bring. Would he be saved? Would Krista move on?Would I get my Happily Ever After? Why did I bother worrying? For anyone who follows Tiffany King on Twitter or in Blog-o-World, she's a total sweetheart. There's no way she wouldn't leave us smiling and happy. And I am *very* happy to say that is exactly what I was doing a little after midnight last night when I finished this story.YAY!!I won't spoil it and say WHAT Happens. Just know that if you love this series like I do, you will be very happy with how it ends. We get to know Haniel better, the new friends we made in Book 2--the other Guide/Protector pairs--come back, and Sam still cracks jokes to make us all smile. We learn even more about the story world Tiffany created, and at the very end, she even has a surprise bonus for us. (I like bonus surprises!)Thank you Tiffany for another fun read, and I look forward to your next writing adventure. You know I'll be around for the ride. :-)

great ending
I was reeling from shock that lovable Mark just walked away from Krista and his friends. I was even more shocked when Ascended starts with two months time transpiring from the attack. Questions were running through my mind -- How could Mark stay away for so long? Why did he act the way he did? Is he really supporting his father and his evil ways? This book starts with Krista making plans to find Mark, even if it is without the support of her friends. Haniel, the Archangel, confronts Krista about her intentions and agrees to let Krista search for Victor and Mark. Since Mark has left, Krista has acquired new skills and has become a powerful, as well as valuable asset to their team. Haniel informs the "band" of guides/protectors that Victor has grown even stronger since his last attack. Haniel is now allowed to engage in battle as well since Victor has crossed the lines with the Dark One. The older band of guides/protectors returns in this sequel to help fight against evil, and it truly is a fight until the bitter end.The Saving Angels series turned out to be a great read. Krista was stronger in this book and forced to make tough decisions. I was so happy to find out Mark was still one of the good guys and hadn't turned on Krista after all. Her friends were loyal and supportive. The pacing was great throughout this book and Tiffany King did a great job with this series.

The Ascended
What it is about: "The Ascended is the final installment of The Saving Angels Trilogy. With Krista's life in turmoil, she is now struggling with the responsibilities that have been passed down to her. With the help of Haniel and her friends, Krista risks everything, including her soul, to march into the den of the Dark Angel. Their only chance for survival is for Krista to find the courage to accept the new role that fate has bestowed upon her, even if it means losing her loved ones forever."My view: As the last book on the series, I started reading it with high expectations; and the book delivered. It is a coherent synopsis of previous events, as well as a great culmination for the characters' journeys. The book takes the romance up a notch and provides some background information in order to put all the pieces together. The scenes are well developed and it is easy to imagine all of the settings introduced during main events. What I liked the most: The work place in order to bring all three books into an interesting end. Plus, the extra short story at the end of the book which provided the information about the characters origins.I wanted more: I would like to know more about what happened between the end of the last chapter and the epilogue. I cannot elaborate without spoiling the read for others.Who should read it: Anyone, regardless of age*Synopsis taken from Amazon

Stimulating ending to trilogy
I quite liked this series, I really like paranormal YA Fiction and if there is love and a happy ending then I'm totally hooked. In this final installment of the series, we are able to see Krista 2 months after the end of the second book. She is adjusting to life without Mark and finds that her powers are getting stronger and evolving. She and Haniel prepare the Guides and Protectors for an attempted rescue mission for Mark, and a mission to destroy Victor. There are a couple of questions that I still have about Haniel even after finishing this book and the prequel that was included at the end of the book, but I really enjoyed this series. The language was mostly good and the relationships between the characters were easy to feel and relate to. There were multiple editing mistakes in the kindle edition that I read - like typos and and a few things like that, but the content was great.

This CANNOT have been the last book...
Overall I think the book was great. Krista is a great main character and is a strong female lead despite the premise of the Link theory - the Protector not being able to survive without his Guide was a refreshing change rather than the other way round. However, after three books of them looking forward to the future with marriage and children, and for it to end really quite abruptly was really unexpected and, to be honest, a little disappointing. I would love for this story to continue with the next chapter of Krista and Mark's lives.

I love the whole story and hope for another book continuing their story!! I didn't like how they book had other story's at the end though and I hope of there is another book that its much longer!! Also I think the editing wasn't brilliant because sometimes sentences where missing words or maybe it was just be trying to read as fast as can!! I want more of the mark and krista epic love story!!!

Well! What a wonderful final book in the series. I loved it! I'm so happy that everything worked out so well. I also appreciated the prologue, giving us an insight into Haniel's love and a glimpse of the group's early years. 'I thoroughly recommend this series to anyone
