Great for Prom - a bit stiff but nice looking shoes at a great price

I was looking for a cheap pair of shoes for a black tie event, and I ultimately went with these shoes. I think they're very well priced for what you're getting.They came in a nice box with bags for each shoe, which I realize is commonplace but I was also not expecting it for this price. The shoes were in perfect condition.The shoes have a nice gloss/shine to them and fit to size. They aren't particularly comfortable (they rub quite a lot) which is why I deducted a star. For the rare occasions I will wear them, it is acceptable.I can't speak to the longevity of the shoes because I've only wore them once and won't wear them very often. They didn't fall apart after one use, which isn't exactly a claim to fame.Overall, if you're looking for a basic pair of black tie shoes, I think these are perfect. If you attend 20 black tie events a year, though, you should probably invest in something better.

I purchased two pair of these shoes; One for my future step son, the other for the groom to be. The guys seemed to be pleased with my purchase. For my liking I thought they were a little too shiny but I didn't hear any complaints from them. The future step son did comment that we was going to get some insoles for them. Other than that they don't really have any complaints. At this point they have only been tried on, the true test will be how they feel on wedding day after being in them for a few hours. I will update if anything changes, but so far so good! I will say finding shoes size 15 to fit the groom is not an easy task. I was pleased to not only to find matching shoes for the guys but a shoe they can both agree on.

I happen to be a Free Mason. Formal black-tie dress is a must in a Masonic Lodge, so nice shiny shoes seemed an appropriate addition for my nice new tux.All of the psudo- Italian names and labels aside, this Made in China shoe exudes a strong gasoline smell that doesn't promise to dissipate any time soon. The incredibly rigid heel makes getting these things on your feet a struggle. Once on, my shoes seemed comfortable enough to walk around indoors. In my opinion, I doubt if these baby's are ready to deal with concrete on a regular basis. As I told my wife," these are costume shoes". If you need a formal shoe to "walk down the isle" or dance at your silver anniversary party, I would up my budget and look elsewhere.Ultimately however, this is a serviceable shiny shoe for a formal appearance. Don't forget to bring real foot wear with you if you'll be doing any significant walking around in the real world.

I bought this to wear with my tux. I attend 2-3 black-tie events per year. With this I mind I was looking for a good looking pair of shoes. These shoes fit the bill. The fit was fine and the construction seems okay. Considering that these shoes will be worn for 4-5 hours a night 2-3 times a year I am happy with my purchase. Now if I were attending 6+ events a year I would buy shoes that could stand up to that kind of usage. For me these fit my current needs. If your usage is similar to mine then I would not hesitate to buy these shoes.

The shoes look great. They have a nice shine and shape to them and seem to be well-made. They do smell strongly, but it probably would fade over time. I had to struggle to get them on and once I did, I could only bear the pain and discomfort of them being too small for about 8-10 minutes. I could feel my feet going cold from loss of circulation and my left foot started to cramp up and became quite painful. This was for size 13. First time I wasn't able to wear a 13 comfortably in my adult life. Also, I could tell from the limited time I had them on that the rear top line (or counter depending on what you call it--but anyway the part that digs into your Achilles heel) was going to cause problems down the line in the form of raw skin or blisters.

I got married in Mexico where shoes were NOT included with the tux rental. (not sure why, but they're not). So I had to buy something for pictures and the reception. This fit the bill. They looked great, super shiny, and were the basic tux shoe I needed.Giving it 4 stars because there was a little bit of a plasticy smell to them out of the box, but it was never an issue wearing them and didn't smell them unless you tried and put them near your nose. I recommend these for anyone needing a basic tux shoe.

I gave the ratings four stars for the fact that they look very nice and very shiny. I bought these for my son for his upcoming Prom. I first bought these in a size 11, however, they had to be returned because they ran a little big . I re-ordered a 10 1/2 and they fit him fine. For the price you can't beat it .

These shoes look very elegant. They fit perfectly. Each shoe comes wrapped in a material pouch with a cardboard divider. I would recommend these shoes to everyone.The only thing that kind of angered me was the $24.00 import charge I had to pay when UPS came to my door. It make me only want to buy something from my own country now. The exchange rate is ridiculous and import charges added as well is not worth it.
