I needed a waterproof case for whitewater rafting the gauley. It did everything it was supposed to. I never took it off bc I paddleboard a lot. I’ve dropped this sucker into many rivers and creeks. Thankfully the attachable lanyard has kept it secured to my board. The real test was a total accident. I laid my phone on top of my friend’s car trunk. He shut his trunk on my phone. He could not figure out why his trunk wasn’t closing properly and put some significant force behind it to get it to latch. All the while, it was my phone he was slamming that trunk door on. It did not crack. It did not waver. My phone is unscathed. This is a wildly good and durable case. Get it.

Bought this to use for a beach vacation. Used it everyday for 6 days. In the water and out. Was able to take great underwater pics and videos. Not a drop of water seeped in. Kept the dirt, sand, and debris out too. Instructions suggest removing your existing screen protector. I put mine back on as the ‘gap’ between the case screen and phone made screen swipes and texting pretty annoying. Case fit fine with it on. As others have said, phone call audio is muffled as the case blocks the mic and speakers. It’s waterproof though! Not sure how you accomplish that without blocking anything. Stop talking on your phone during vacation! It worked for my intended use. I put my regular case back afterwards.

Hard for people to understand me when in the case

One year ago I purchased this iPhone case and it has certainly been through the ringer. I’ve used it extensively on my sailboat poking it into all sorts of hard to get to locations in its diesel engine. It has been banged, scraped, dropped and generally knocked around without failure of the phone. However, the real value of this case was realized on the night of July 4th ‘22. I had been lying across the stern seat of my boat drinking a bottle of wine and with one hand taking photos of the fireworks on land. Although the case does have a wrist strap it wasn’t around my wrist so the inevitable occurred with a plunk! Yep, my very expensive iPhone fell out of my hand and into the Atlantic Ocean in 10’ of inky black water. This was at midnight so I decided that I wasn’t getting in the water at that hour so waited till the next morning. At 10:30 the next morning I plunged off the back of my boat and low and behold the iPhone was exactly where I estimated it to be sitting face down. Wonder of wonders when I picked it up it was still on and as I was surfacing maybe 2’ from the surface a call was coming in!My phone survived for 10.5 hours in 10’ of salt water in this case! Due to the humidity here in Miami there was only a minuscule amount of water vapor inside when I opened it. Six months later it’s still working flawlessly.

This is a quality case and fits my phone great. It does provide very good protection. The only bad thing is everyone tells me they can not hear me or I sound very muffled. There is a fix to the muffled voice, I just open the bottom charging port access door and then people can hear me fine, but then that would allow water in if it got dropped in water.
