It protects some but DO NOT expect total darkness.
I was highly disappointed with their definition of "blackout curtains" I sleep during the day, sometimes working 18hr shifts and really wanted my room to stay dark. It protects some, but expect your room to still be lit.I loved the pattern and colors. Its bright, beautiful and during the day, the planets, galaxy, and colors shine beautifully.

Almost perfect
These were purchased as closet curtains so I don't care or know much about the black out abilities. However, they are not as dark as pictured. The top was supposed to be nearly black, it's a nice royal blue. It looks more like a bright sky with clouds. Daughter loves it anyway, so we'll keep it, but it's not quite as advertised.

Very nice well made
Love the wolves curtains made really well only thing is color doesn't look like the picture they have it's more of a dark orange and a little too much orange not a big fan of it but ... just have to get used to it 😂
