I took this bag out to the range filled with heavy ammo, and it performed like a champ! I had over 500 rounds of .22, 500 rounds of 9mm, 25 rounds of shotgun ammo, 3 ear muffs, two full-sized pistols, my water bottle on the side pocket, 8 magazines, and 8 clay pigeon holders with the steel rods. It all fit nicely, and the bag weighed a ton! However, my back thanked me later because carrying this as a backpack when it is fully loaded to capacity, is so much easier on the back, than my old range bag, which was duffle bag style. That bag was HEAVY to carry! My arms and back were always sore after carrying it around. I am thrilled to have found this bag that fit everything (other than our rifle and shotgun, lol) we needed for a nice day at the range. I bought an American flag patch for the area on the front of the backpack in the hook and loop patch area, and it looks awesome! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a spacious and well-made range bag.

Awesome bag! This is my second DS leaf bag. It will literally hold almost anything. Several thousand rounds a dozen handguns, targets, ear protection eye protection, magazines. Definitely worth the money! Very thick material and has lasted quite some time for me. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic range bag. You can fit everything you need for handgun shooting at the range. Ammo, mags, tools, protective gear.... everything. Make it easy. The individual gun cases are very convenient and they protect your firearms. All my pistols fit well in them, from my Glock 17,19and 26 all the way to my 5 inch 1911 with compensator and extended mag. And the price for this is absolutely worth every penny, I honestly would have paid a lot more. Quality is top notch too. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Retracted previous review.I realized I made a mistake and said that the bag was missing some magazine holders and a pouch. They were there but I missed that there was another compartment in the front of the bag. Seems to be a durable product but it does look generic.

I bought this as a gift for my husband and he loves it. There's more than enough room for say 3 handguns with extra loops and pockets for extra magazines. It's sturdy Auth reinforced seams and is comfortable to take to the range. I looked at several locally and this one beats the local quality for the price.

Great gun backpack. If you’re going to have ammo in your bag, use the bottom section where it has the cases for the pistols shown above. Put the pistols in the storage space above.

This is a really well- thought out range bag with no deficiencies. For those who have complained that the upper compartment sags down into the lower compartment… they have likely missed the built-in bolsters that fold up from the floor of the bottom compartment to provide support to the side-walls. Pop these up on each side and you will have no issues. If you are someone that wants to carry a 1000 rounds in a backpack then simply place them into the bottom compartment and move your pistols to the top. There is plenty of room to do that. Buy with extreme confidence. If there is one nitpicky thing to add for the next generation - maybe line the upper outside pocket with felt to protect eyewear. Super comfy and sturdy straps.

The backpack is perfect for my job as a Emergency Medical Responder. I can carry all types of emergency medical gear and plus a full sized Philips AED!We had an emergency and had to rush to a drug overdose. My backpack, even with the AED, stayed steady and didn't move around much. The medic I was with said he wanted a bag like mine because his bag was all over the place when he ran, making it hard for him. Running with my bag was much easier.
