Donkey milk - Even better than goat milk
I have used various creams and lotions made with goat milk in the past, so I was intrigued at the idea of trying this hand cream made with donkey milk. The 40ml tube is rather small as you can see from the photos, but even just a drop of the cream goes a long way, and makes my hands feel soft and hydrated. The pea-sized amount shown in my picture was plenty for my hands and arms. I love that this cream was actually clinically tested for efficacy, and the "proven hydratation efficiency: 85.6% after 30 min" is very impressive. The creams glides on smoothly and absorbs immediately. I even think that it improves the appearance of my hands. It is supposed to supply 8 hours of hydration and I believe that it does do that. I have two dogs and wash my hands many times during an 8 hour period, so of course some of the nice feeling lessens somewhat, however the hydration seems to last. There is a very light and pleasant scent that is hardly noticeable and fades quickly. I don't think it would bother anyone who is sensitive to scents as it is so faint. It is also dermatologist tested to be hypoallergenic.Thoughts:If you like products made with goat milk, I would say that this is as good or better than any that I have tried. It is made in Portugal, and a very high quality hand cream. The size is a little small, but a little seems to go a long way, and so far it has been working wonderfully to rehydrate my skin.

Very moisturizing
Why donkey milk hand cream would be better than any other animal milk cream I do not know. I wash my hands so often I am willing to try anything. The first thing you notice is a strong flowery scent. Maybe a cross between lilies of the valley and lilacs. I can't decide. I happen to like it, but scent police may not.I applied it to my hands right after it arrived yesterday and did feel it made my hands feel smooth and healthy. Even though I have washed my hands five times or so since I put the cream on my hands they still feel smooth. I am going to go put more on if somebody in my family hasn't stolen it.It's a small tube for what I think is a fairly high price. However, for winter hands and hands that are sanitized again and again I think a lot of people will find it a relief.

Great for hands that garden too much
Review for: Phillippe By Almada Donkey milk Hand Cream 40 ml / 1.3 Fl.OzAs a daily gardener, I am always looking for a really good hand cream that can help my hands get closer to normal at the end of the day. This tube does a really nice job of that. After washing and scrubbing, I can apply just one coat and my hands feel like they have been totally moisturized. The lotion feels just a bit sticky until it completely massages into the skin. Once that happens, my skin feels protected and hydrated but not oily or greasy at all. The scent of this product is a bit stronger than most but it is a really nice scent. The tube is small and possibly a bit pricey but for anyone with problems keeping their hands hydrated, it is well worth it.

Strong floral scent but moisturizing
This hand cream has an incredibly strong floral smell. I left it on my desk before trying it and noticed a strong floral smell the next day. I didn’t know it was coming from the hand cream and just thought “oh today there must be a lot of pollen as I can smell it.” I realized the smell was coming from the hand cream after opening it. This is the first time I have come across donkey milk hand cream and found the formulation concept unique. It does hydrate my hands but takes a little longer to absorb than other hand creams as it is on the stickier side. No irritation for my sensitive skin but I wish the scent was toned down as it is overly strong for daily use.

Nice lotion
This is a review for Phillippe By Almada Donkey milk Hand Cream, comes in a 1.3 fl oz tube which at time of review is $13 and some change. I've been using this lotion for the last couple of weeks and here are my observations. The lotion has a medium level floral scent (to me meaning the whole room isn't going to smell but it's easy for the person applying it to smell it)- and it smells fairly artificial to me. It's not unusual for lotions and soaps to use things like milk from animals as the lactic acid is good for softening skin and properties like mucus can help moisturize. This does do that. Is it better than other lotions I have used? No, but it's ok. So 4 stars.
