This kit is perfect for fixing the eyesore that a scuff on dark glossy black wheel becomes. The block for smoothing the damage worked perfectly. The paint does require several coats to get full coverage over a deeper cut in the wheel but once it's covered, you can't tell there was ever a problem unless you get extremely close to search for it.

I hit a curb that I didn't know was there due to the high snow. So, when the weather got a little better, I had to fix my scuffed-up rim. This did the trick. It isn't perfect, but then again, I don't think any fix is besides replacing the whole rim.

Wish it was easier to pick/get the right colour to match.Used on Model S rims to fix road rash (scraped a curb). Got satin black, which seemed like the closest colour, wish there was a metallic grey.Colour matched better than leaving the exposed metal underneath but definitely not a match for my rim. Looks better than before, so I'm satisfied for the price and speed of delivery, but not much of a colour match. Used my own tape, used the sanding block (pretty coarse) to take off some burs/high spots but not to bother sanding it smooth (cause of poor colour match). Paint pent tip worked well, not messy.Bottom line, better than scratched but wouldn't pick this colour again for my grey metal rims.

This isn’t going to be the same as a professional repair, but for the price and easy of use I think it did its job.I live in a city area with those awful 90 degree tall curbs, so it’s easy to scuff the wheels.The photos (before and after) were on first attempt. You can add more coats to darken it, so I suggest starting with one, letting it dry, and seeing what you think. Don’t worry that when you first paint it’s super dark, that fades as it dries.Up close you can obviously tell the area painted, but at a glance it blends well; you have to look for it from a few feet away.Overall happy with the results! The scratches looked awful, this covers them pretty well.PSA- the paint is pretty strong, be careful on your hands…it takes a lot to wash it off.
