An upgrade to the page I ripped out of a magazine
Years ago, I ripped the original work out of Glamour Magazine. Then the authorship was mistaken in many ways. A great quick read, written simply enough for any age. The anecdotes enhance the original work. I’d gift this for: graduations, first apartment, bachelorette, a rainy day, or anyone who needs a starting point on life checklists.

Meh
Nothing wrong with the condition of the book or the seller. I got this book for my daughter. I was disappointed in the content, which was a little dated and aimed at successful women. It wasn’t as practical or helpful as I hoped. It went to Goodwill.

Inspiring book, at any age!
I'm on the brink of 30, and not by any means having a mid-life crisis, but definitely at the point in my life where I'm evaluating where I've been, what I've accomplished, and what I want to do next. This book helps put in to perspective that it's NOT downhill after 30, your life is not over! In fact, it's more about how much you have ahead of you; now that you "formally" are venturing into adulthood from the crazy college-lived, career-starting, date-filled 20's, what you have to look forward to in your 30's! It's an inspirational read, as well as a tool to help you reflect and prioritize what you haven't quite accomplished. Easy read, and I LOVED every chapter!!

Fun book
I love the premise of the book, and the list that the book originated from. But I found the individual chapters a little wanting for gems and life advice. Fun, easy read.

Great Read
This book is such a good and easy read. It made me cry, laugh and think. It's less of a checklist and much more about being happy where you are in life at any age (but still recommend for women around 30 especially late 20's). I loved all the stories from different women and finding out at the end what they had accomplished now. This book helped me feel thankful for my past and excited for the future- even for turning 30!

Made me write my own list
The original list was pretty amazing. But now having people expound it and having Maya Angelou write HER list at the end made it a pleasant and thoughtful list. We all have things we want to achieve by 30, and yes the list can now be updated to the times we're living in now, but the thing that remains is that every day, every year, you have to get better. Loved it!

Quick, easy read
Got this book for my daughter. I thumbed through it first. I found it a bit simple for my taste and there is not a lot of information, but it was light and entertaining and food for thought. It was perfect for her. She gets bored quickly with books (can this really be my daughter?), and this was just enough to hold her attention

Inspiring
It's all about perspective. Some can choose to have a gray cloud over the idea of turning 30, this book helps clear those thoughts. Life is a journey, nothing better than reading of others experiences open and honest. Beautifully done.
