I have been using the MasterPro Gastro Induction Cast Aluminium Pot for a couple of months now and I am very happy with its quality and performance. It is a large and sturdy casserole with a glass lid that can handle various cooking tasks with ease. The casserole is made from high-quality cast aluminium that ensures excellent heat distribution and retention, making it ideal for slow cooking, braising, stewing, and baking. The casserole also has a ceramic non-stick coating that prevents food from sticking and makes it easy to clean. In a nutshell:Things I liked:+ Just love it. It is cavernous and easily fits in a large dinner for six to eight people.+ Even though the handles and lid edges appear rubberised (they're actually silicone), they're all fine to go in the oven.+ Supremely easy to clean. You see that casserole that's in the photo? See how cooked on the sauce is up the sides? Came off really, really easily - just wipe it off. No scrubbing needed AT ALL. Much easier than our cast iron Denby.+ Much lighter too. You really notice how light it is when it's full - or rather, you notice how heavy our cast iron one is when it's full. Or at least we did, when we still used it.+ Handles just don't get that hot when this is on the stove.Things I didn't like:- Nothing.Do I recommend it?1000% yes. It's brilliant! Really lightweight, easy to clean and super versatile.

Was surprised by how lightweight & thin this was overall. & how big it is!...Think we had the largest... It oozes quality & looks nice for a casserole dish! I don't know how it would stand up to being bashed about....not saying it won't stand up...just don't know & not about to try & find out... though the mother in law's face is a tempting test of strength....could really get a few whacks in there.We usually roast a chicken by covering it with foil on a roasting tin to keep the moisture in. We don't need to mess about with foil anymore nor the expense as a medium sized chicken fits in this no problem & the lid will do the same job as foil. Whether you'd call our chicken actually roasted is another thing.A lightweight...non stick...large!.....casserole dish...this size big enough to throw joints of meat in..what's not to like?Be aware of how big the 7 litre one is though...if you have a standard oven & cook a roast in the middle while at the same time using upper rack for other food ...you may not be able to have an upper rack in.....unless you drop this down to a lower level. It IS big.

This is a quality pan that can go from hob to oven, so very versatile. The very generous 7 litre capacity, makes it ideal for batch and large family or occasion cooking ideal for large batch soup and casserole making too.I’m really impressed with the quality of the glassed lidded pot, it has everything I need it to have, including stay cool silicone handles and lid knob, for when using on the hob, the shapes of which are good and chunky, so you’re not going to drop them, even if you’ve got arthritic hands. As it’s made from aluminium, it’s also not too heavy, unlike my cast iron casserole with lid, which I love, but it’s very heavy and sometimes just too heavy, especially when full of food, so this aluminium design one is a good alternative.I’ve used this in a gas hob and an electric oven and it has performed well, with the non-stick coating working well and had been cleaned by hand and in the dishwasher and cleaned perfectly. I would recommend hand washing though to keep the integrity of the non stick coating, but also because it’s so HUGE, it takes up a lot of room 8n the dishwasher!This is a great large casserole type cooking pot, with so many uses, it’s now become the go to cooking pot in our house. At £64.99 it’s also fair value for. Only for the quality, use and expected longevity of the product. Very happy to recommend.
