Reaction Tackle Swimbait Swing Jig Head - Bass Fishing Lure, Ideal Bait for Saltwater Fishing and Freshwater, Weighted Weedless Hooks

My local lakes are shallow and weed choked. Using paddle tail baits with open hook jig heads is an exercise in frustration. Going this route means I'm simply mining weeds on each and every cast. Not fun at all. The offset shank hook allows me to run weedless. The line tie location in the nose of the jig head, and the head's shape, allows me to drag the rig through weeds cleanly. If the bait bogs down a bit, a nice snap of the rod will clear the veggies right off. Love these. I'm stocking up!

I am very partial to this particular jighead, I tend to fish the thick stuff and wind up losing a lot of rigs, with that said not only have I increased my catch ratio with this jighead, they take a beating and stay true to form better than others I have used. Unlike some others that chip after a few hours of banging against logs and branches these have proven to be more durable than any others I have found. I fish these a lot in clearer waters as the action of the head and the eyes have proven very effective.

Just recently discovered reaction tackle and they make great fishing products. This swim bait rigs are perfect and match great with my keitechs.

These swing jig heads arrived promptly and pleased me greatly. They are well-made. The hooks are very strong and sharp. I expect they will give me many years of good service.

First time trying them, just like another review said, they tend to wobble too far to one side which then entirely changes the way the bait is presented. After further inspection I found that the reason is because the eye of the hook is bent on every single one so it has to run crooked. After using some pliers and bending everything back straight it runs more true now, but it probably compromised the integrity of the connection. Ordered the sexy shad and received the other shad(forgot it's color name), didn't bother me too much because they are all great colors but was still disappointed.
