Planted nine seeds and all came up really quickly and are growing strong and sturdy!

These were amazing this year I've never grown such huge sunflowers, for context my fence is 6ft tall so these all reach 8 to 9 ft tall with tons of seeds now harvested

After germination I have to say that they did not grow very well. Perhaps it was my newcompost though. It seems since they took out the peat (to which I agree) they did notreplace it with something that is equally as good, most of my plant did not thrive as perusual and we certainly had enough sun!! Must try again next year and not try to enrichmy soil.

I planted 25 seeds from the packet of seeds and all but 2 have grown and I'm ready to 'weed out' the weakest of them to leave 6 to grow on. I gave the other 25 seeds to a friend and they are doing the same and they have reported almost 100% success! Can't wait to see them once they are at full height. Many neighbors have done the same - it's going to look like the Sunflower Fields of Ukraine - before the troubles mind!

I’ve been trying to grow all sorts of sunflowers so ordered these seedsI’m a bit disappointed as a lot of the seeds have not sprouted into seedlingsIt might be my problem but I’ve had better success with other sunflower seedsI won’t recommend these seeds for the low germination rate

Cannot say too much about these,but germinated more or less straight away,hopefully it will grow into a giant as advertised,happy enough with price
