Shame on me for not fully reading the item description but sadly this pot cannot be returned. It claims that it holds 14oz of honey which is an understatement to be fair. It’s HUGE!! Could easily hold 4x that amount. The pottery itself is beautiful. The lid looks poor and doesn’t fit well at all. I’ll probably just chuck the lid and use the pot as a planter or candy jar. Disappointed to say the least, thankfully it isn’t terribly expensive.It should not be listed as a prime item if it can’t be returned or exchanged at all.Don’t bother getting this honey pot unless you’ve read the details in full and you’re in need of a gargantuan jar of honey.

Beautiful, colorful and HUGE. When it says 6 inches... it means it. This thing is gargantuan, The picture below is in comparison to my full sized blender and my microware. The picture of it is what was in my last honey jar when it was FULL. My husband was scared to put any more in it for fear of not being able to lift it. (not really, slightly sarcastic. ) This thing holds more than 4 cups of honey. I will be using it as a candy jar, as I cannot afford to keep it filled with honey...unless I start my own apiary...Looks around for my husband yelling..."HONEY, what would the HOA say about us having a beehive?"...

The lid is a little loose for my liking, and the cut-out for the honey stick is a little rough looking. The finishes on this item aren't the best quality.That being said, I'm happy with it overall and I'll be keeping it.

Really thought that this honey pot would work well in my kitchen. Turns out that the lid is the wrong size. It's also a slightly different shade than the pot. Unfortunately I can't return it due to food safety issues? Would not recommend.

Nice large size and attractive glaze. However, lid fits poorly, and they don't accept returns. I wouldn't buy this again.

I am so happy with this honey pot. It's made in the USA, its beautiful, and holds lots of honey. The company is really wonderful. I purchased the Ocean Blue and it is perfect, just like the photo,

Prime costs more and more every year, and yet we can't rely on returns? Unacceptable. This is a massive honey pot. I have my own bees, so I have large amounts of honey, but nobody wants a half gallon of honey on their counter. At first when I opened it, I laughed because it was so ridiculously large and I assumed (we know what happens when you assume) that returns would be simple. Prime costs more every year and the value goes down. Other stores are stepping up their game, perhaps they will earn my business.

The jar is bigger than I expected - partially my fault for not checking the 6" listed height. But It is described as14oz and it can hold 40oz. If you need something that big then it would be fine, but as a honey jar, because of its size, it is difficult to get the honey out of the bottom without making a mess. The reason I feel it cannot be given as a gift is that the top does not fit properly (it's a bit small) and the color of the top does not match the jar (it's a little darker). The quality if fine and I like the color, but I'm going to have to find another honey jar.
