Clover Bias Tape Makers, Package Includes all 5 sizes

I used this product when making flower stems in a machine applique quilt I am making. I previously had only one larger size item and I used it for bias binding for a different quilt I made. I purchased this set so I would have a variety of sizes to choose from and I knew this to be a good brand.

I was trying to find a way to turn old fabric into braided rugs. Older tape folders I have never worked that well. Once you get the fabric fed into these, it's simple to fold and press the material. Worked much better than I thought it would. I used an awl to feed the fabric into the folder. A pin would work, too.

I got these to aid in putting finishing touches on some projects and find myself just enjoying the project so much I'm probably 8,971 projects ahead. So simple. So pleasant to use. (SO much easier than the "old school" way I was taught decades ago. By all means get these if you need the bias tape, but also if you just need something to focus your mind away from troubles. Needed to make my own bias tape.

I used the 1-inch bias tape maker to create the trim of my sewing machine cover. It was so fast and easy!

I know these cost more than the off brand. But you get what you pay for. The Clover brand bias tape makers are better quality metal and all around better quality. I tried the cheaper ones and they just didn’t work. Maybe they were defective, but it wasn’t worth the time to return them and try again. So, I ordered the Clover (a trusted brand) and they worked perfectly.

The fabric stayed in the full width of slot. Didn’t mind not getting other sewing notions. These work better than most other brands
