Amazon Basics 400 Thread Count Cotton Pillow Case, Standard, 30" L x 20" W, Beige - Set of 2, Pillows Not Included

These are so soft, it feels great to the skin. I have sensitive skin and these cotton sateen pillows are perfect. They also have a nice sheen to them with stripes on tbe side giving my bed pillows a royal elegant look. The down side of these are that they don't have an extra casing or zipper to enclose the pillow inside (wide pillow can stick out) so I might have to give it in to bend material and sew snaps or something to close it with. However, the pretty stripes will not be seen then. What a pity. I still love them though. The slight manufacturers smell when opening the pkg disappeared within the hour and I was able to use them right away without even washing them

I got these extra pillow cases to use for family guest pillows on the blow up guest bed.I was pretty amazed. The quality is top-notch: the seems are well stitched & material is not thin or flimsy.They actually look just as nice as my expensive sheet set pillow cases. I would definitely buy them again and again, and again!

Needed to replace all of my old pillowcases, chose these to try, and after the initial wash I'm fully satisfied. I don't care about wrinkles on pillowcases (or sheets, for that matter) as they come out of the dryer--they're gonna get wrinkled anyway, geez. And they're plenty soft, don't feel they're "rough" to any real degree. Bona buy more right now . . .

I absolutely love this pillow so far. I have only had it for 2 days but it has been the best sleep I have had in a while. I highly recommend if in search of a comfortable pillow.

I run an AirBnB and love these pillowcases for my rooms. They're durable and thicker than some of my sheets. The one drawback was I had a renter who must've used a lot of hair oil and those pillow cases are now ruined, that stain didn't come out. Don't know if I'd have trouble with other stains. So I felt like I spent a lot of money on a quality product and didn't get to use them much. But that's my problem, not the product.

These are an extremely tight fit on memory foam king-size pillows. I haven’t washed them yet, so I’ll have to see how they are after the first washing but they were extremely tight on the first test installation.

I bought these to match the fitted sheets - one I’ve had in rotation for 4 years that I’ve been really pleased with, one extra I’ve just bought - but it’s a bit of a mixed review for the pillowcases.Looking at some of the other reviews talking about the fabric being scratchy and hard makes me think I’ve received a totally different product! But just like the fitted sheets, the pillowcases are smooth due to the 400 thread count, with a slight sheen due to the sateen weave, and are exactly what I expected and hoped for in that area. The dark grey colour is versatile and also very pleasant to my eye, and I appreciated the sewn border detail along one side, which is an unexpected feature in a good value “basics” range.BUT - and it’s the factor that means I’m returning these instead of using them happily for years like the sheets - they don’t have an envelope! I think without exception until now, every pillowcase I’ve used in my 40 years has included an envelope flap to cover the end of the pillow, and I hadn’t realised this was a feature I needed to specifically look for! As I was testing the size on my current pillows (fine, incidentally, for standard sized pillows), I actually had to turn the case inside out because I couldn’t work out where the envelope flap was, and was confused about it just not existing!The product description doesn’t mention the envelope flap at all, and there aren’t any photos that shows the side view with the pillow inner exposed - just some careful shots chosen that make it look like any normal (enclosed) pillow, which I believe is misleading.Obviously there are bigger problems in the world than pillowcases without envelope flaps, but to me it seems like a very strange choice to sell open-ended ones, but then go to the trouble of adding a sewn border detail to that open end! If I were to keep these, I would have to position them so the open end was facing away from the door to the room (it would look scruffy and untidy to have a gaping open end on display, with a contrasting colour pillow inside), so that extra detail would also be less visible. More than just for aesthetics, I want an envelope flap for my pillowcases to protect the pillow itself from dust/fluff from my cats/etc, so I guess it’s back to the drawing board to find a good quality cotton pillowcase to match my sheets.

Lovely white, quality material with nice stitching, however there isn't the normal extra piece of material that you wrap over your pillow meaning the case is just left with a gap, I wouldn't recommend them for this reason and I didn't find them comfortable as I like my pillow fairly full but due to the pillow not being kept in place the pillow moves and flattens. Why they have made them this way I don't know, I would have rather have paid more.

Las fundas tienen una excelente calidad, son suaves, de tela con buena densidad/grosor, están bien confeccionadas cero quejas por este lado.Mi única recomendación querido(a) potencial comprador es que las de tamaño estándar son pequeñas para las almohadas que normalmente se venden en México, quedan muy justas a lo largo y un parte de la almohada se llega a salir de la funda con el uso, así que para estar seguro(a) mejor compra las King Size.

I was extremely glad to find a pillow cover in this size, as previously I used to get this size from the US. I trust Amazon Basics and few other things under the brand have been good. But I was really disappointed to receive these pillow covers. They definitely do not feel or look 100% cotton. I would’ve been okay if it was advertised as such, but calling it 100% cotton instead of the real combination is misleading. I hope Amazon will take notice of this and either change the product, or the description/label.

This is the fourth time I've purchased Amazon Basics bedding and I'll continue to be a loyal user going forward. Price point and quality are fantastic. You absolutely get a bang for your buck. Soft, thick and beautiful colours. We got the full set in cream and spa blue, then also bought these pillow cases for our extra pillows. Everything goes great with our Ikea duvet and duvet cover, and I'll probably be investing in Amazon Basic replacements for those in the near future.
