The book sheds light on his early life where he had romanticattachment and he hardly cares for the other things in his life. But the vital role played by his efficient minister Appaji guided and reminded him of his duties towards the motherland and his people. The selfless contribution of Appaji carved out the hidden potential of krishna who later became The Great Emperor Krishnadevaraya. The last conversation between Krishna and his brother Vira made me emotional.Being a lover of history, I always explore around the said genre because I believe our country is so rich historically and we get to learn so much from these stories. I was completely immersed and cherished the manner in which the book continued. This book transported me to the time of kings, monarchs, forming empires, and wars being waged. The themes of bravery and patriotism were skillfully portrayed in thebook. The book, which takes place in the 1400s,discusses the Vijayanagara Empire and its brave monarch, Sri Krishnadevaraya. The author has amazing storytelling abilities. It's really commendable how he kept us reading the book all the way through. Most of the time, the narration was gorgeous and took the listener back in time. The characters were all very well developed. a historical tale with a quick pace. What else could you possibly need for a pleasant evening?However, what really caught my attention was the author's seamless storytelling and writing style, which combined with a vivid depiction of the historical and cultural context of southern India, made for a very remarkable read.
