It covers my small room, and if you want to enjoy it just faces it to the position of your bed , I have seen a lot of bad reviews here but that’s just unfair to this great product, though the concept of the sellers description may have been wrong saying it covers the entire room without specifying the size of the room, my room was small and I just positioned the cooling fan to my bed and plus I only used it at night , there was no A.C in my room , only this cooling fan serves as an AC for me , and it does get very cold as real AC , and there was no leakage, I used it for almost 7months before moving out of the apartment and I resold it to the nest tenant for a 100aed less, I’m not sure about other people experience of this product but mine was really great, it comes with 4 ice packs, water tank underneath, it last at least 2 to 3days before water refill, and I change the ice pack anytime I want to sleep, I really had awesome experience with this product. This came REALLY well packaged and was much lighter than expected. It's very simple and self explanatory to set up, but if you're a stickler for using directions I suggest getting some post it's out because each section jumps through multiple languages. Quick mark the English pages and you're good to go. It comes with extra ice packs that fit great in my freezer. I suggest using a small funnel to fill them unless you have a very steady hand. They freeze fast and still felt cool (but melted) 8 hours later when I switched them. This is not an air conditioner so manage your expectations, but it definitely takes the edge off in a small room and pumps out delightfully cold air if you like it sitting near by. It was a great solution for us in a room with no window. I'm disabled and this was super duper light weight and it's simple to fill and maintain.

Honestly I was fine saying it didn't cover the whole room, but because of some odd emails iv gotten from the people who made this product I decided to explain why I gave it a low rating and why you shouldn't buy this. This device claims to be a 3 in 1 device and can fill the whole room with cold air, just add cold water and ur good to go. What they don't tell u is this thing uses alot of water, and you have to refill it, every single day, now its not heavy at all but after adding the water it requires it becomes heavy, and it leaks. It leaks everywhere even if u just turn it [the bloody thing has wheels and still leaks] there is also no easy way to fill it with water without getting water all over the floor, unless u take this thing outside and fill it up with a hose but even then if u try to pick it up slowly and move as carefully as possible, your gonna get water everywhere. Literally everywhere. The funny thing js it claims it can fill a whole room with cool air, this is not true I got this for my office which isn't a large room st all but it doesn't even make the room cold it makes the small area its in cold like maybe a few inches. Also air doesn't come out of part of the fan. I don't know if it was a malfunction and I got a bad model but based on how the manufacturers keep emailing me to delete my negative comment and they will give me a 50 dollar Amazon gift card. This thing is far more expensive. I would have said cool thanks and yes please to this, I even did, but then they wanted me to delete my comment so they could look good with what I assume to be false reviews they made themselves. The reason why I say that is because I cannot find any legitimate reviews online for this product, I csnt even find a online guide or anytbing for this piece of crap. Its not the worse fan and when it has cool water it feels kinda nice but for the money and the constant leaking and noise [ also advertised as quite and it is not at all] its hard to say this was worth it. Maybe if they sold it for 50 bucks sure because that's what it's worth. Do yourself a favor find a different room fan, because there are tons that are cheaper and u don't have to refill every day and get water everywhere when u put it back in the spot u had it in after refilling it. Also these people are somewhat suspicious as I haven't ever had anyone email me to offer me a refund if I deleted my negative comment. So this is to explain why I did it. And if those people are reading this. I don't want your credit to make ur product look good. It's not and you should be ashamed.

I live in a place where one room of the house gets very hot in the summer. I needed a cooler that I could put just in that room to keep it cool. I decided on this after doing some due research and it sounded like it could work with the square footage and such.This is a well-made little cooler (and it is little, only about 2' tall) and it does keep me relatively cool. But only if I have it blowing right on me. Even though I have it in a room that is well within the recommended square footage, it does nothing to cool the room down. And even with the ice packs, the air never comes out super chilly. Just slightly cooler than a normal fan, as long as you keep it filled with water and the provided frozen ice packs. So, I just point it at me whenever I am using it and it does the job. I just wish it kept the whole room cool.I also have a warning: It comes with four handy ice packs you just pop in your freezer. The cooler uses two at a time, so that is convenient to let two freeze while you are using the other two. HOWEVER, what they don't tell you is that there are gel balls in the freezer packs. I didn't know what they were and almost dumped them out before I realized maybe they were in there for a reason. You fill the packs with water and the gel balls turn it into a jelly-like substance that I guess stays frozen longer, maybe? Another HOWEVER: DO NOT fill the ice packs up to the fill line or they will explode. After the first freeze I noticed mine had almost busted so I had to squeeze a bunch of the substance out of them and still that wasn't enough. They expand like crazy and at least two of mine are leaking now because they exploded. Luckily they're still usable. I would recommend filling them halfway to start out and see how much they expand and then add a little more water as needed.

It barely cools the air more than a standard fan...

I purchase this product for the anion function. It means the machine can emit negative ion. You want that on your water/evaporative/swamp cooler.The next reason is the size and mobility. Not bulky easy to move.I live in a 1500 square foot 3 brm house, the living room is the biggest room and this one works with no problem. Having said that I do add a Vornado fan aim at the back of the evaporative cooler to keep the air constant. The swamp cooler doesn't need the extra fan. But for me the extra air help.As for the noise the machine make. It's the same noise a regular fan make. If you put the regular fan on highest setting which is 3 and you put the evaporative cooler on its highest setting which is 3, the noise level is the same.Third is rating. I can't speak for other people that bought this product. But I bought this because of all the above reason. Not necessarily on that order either.I highly recommend this product!Specifically if you reside in Texas.Bear in mind that I am using this evaporative cooler indoors.It arrived well package, the only thing I have to assemble is the wheel leg and from that removed all the plastic wrap,tape and the bag covering the machine. Next open the Louver window to let the air out .Instructions are simple easy to follow. Which basically tells you what each button do and how to access them.Last is the distance the machine function away from me. The machine is in the other side of my living room and my setting section is on the other side of the room. I am extremely happy I bought this item. As soon as I get my next paycheck I am going to get me another one.
