Lewis, Haddon, and Walker's book was purchased largely on impulse based on the cover, since there weren't any posted reviews. I'm extremely pleased to say that the book has exceeded my expectations. Often trailer books neglect to pay proper attention to interiors. I'm happy to say that that is not the case with this book. Each trailer has at least one exterior photograph, and multiple interior shots, each showcasing the owner's aesthetic. The title promises "an inspirational guide to retro-style caravans," and that is certainly what it delivers. Those who own travel trailers will feel inspired to renovate them, and those who don't will feel compelled to find one.

This is a way cool book from a different view, a British view of travel trailers or as they and the Continent call them "Caravans". Until looking at this book I didn't know that there were so many different makes of British and European caravans. Now I am on the hunt for a few of the "cuties" in the book. Nice book, well written, great photos.

If you're into vintage campers, whether you own one, are re-doing one, or just enjoy reading about them, then this is the book for you. I purchased it as a gift for my husband, who is redoing a 40 year old camper for our use, and he was ecstatic when he saw it. He made many positive comments as he was reading it. I would definitely recommend it for a vintage camper enthusiast.

This is a picture book. I bought this book based on a review that it was the perfect book for help with renovating a trailer. It is not. Also, these are old pictures not retro more historical.

beautiful pictures of real caravans. I wanted to move to Europe so I could buy all of them. excellent photography and choices of caravans to publish. I highly recommend this book.

Very well documented, delightful photography.Floor plans would have given it the five stars.

I like the pictures but wished there were more interior photos. At least showing the whole interior area vs. just small things. I like to see the way people have fixed it up inside. But the photogeaphy is great and the caravans interesting. Prompt delivery as well.

This book is a fabulously fun and nostalgic look at the beloved Caravan! Beautifully bound with high quality pages, in full colour, it gives the reader an enjoyable walk back in time to their childhood, with cool retro refurbishments, while also offering the reader new ideas at the same time. A wonderful book to proudly keep at hand on your coffee table! Everyone will enjoy looking through these pages, young or old, caravan lover or not! It's a real gem!

This is a great book! I got if for my other half for his birthday and he has spent many happy hours pouring over it, looking at the funky re-fitted caravans and planning how to turn ours into a retro chic van! Beautiful photos and really well put together! A great book for anyone who loves their caravan! I was was worried that it might be a bit girly but the boy loves it too!

Every April I find myself getting this lovely hardback book out of the bookcase and dreaming of one day owning and restoring a vintage caravan. Beautifully shot photo's and great design details.

Good book, lots of great pictures and fab ideas for personalising that little space on wheels. Bought as a gift, the recipient was very pleased.
