Very durable and looked great on my trade show booth roof for jungle theme I will be reusing for my patio tiki bat this summer

Changed the look of our bedroom we were trying to make and feel like a jungle. Great quality. Thick and easy to hang. Used little nails and it’s held up nicely. Shipped quick and nicely packaged.

Very well made and very realistic look

Got several sets of the 118”x15” “spotted yellow”. It worked great for making one end of our pool patio cover into a tiki bar for a party! I expected these to be a thinner material, but they’re a fairly thick and sturdy plastic. A bit heavy honestly, but hopefully that means mostly weatherproof and that they won’t degrade as fast. The printing of the pattern on the plastic is realistic. There were no obvious defects or other concerns. No strange or unpleasant scent. They arrived with each bundle rolled in plastic—advise unrolling on arrival and leaving them spread out to “relax” the rolled shape a little. A note for those who tend to trust seller photos and not read seller descriptions: These are NOT a material as shown in the product examples for “application”. All of those photos are of a natural thatch type material, so reference to those images can be misleading. These were easy-ish to attach to a non-porous surface with Gorilla tape. Heavy duty staples or nails would otherwise work well on surfaces compatible to those. I used 3/4 of a roll of Gorilla tape to attach these to our pool patio cover. I needed help, and glad I had it—one person to hold the other end of the grass strip up to make attaching the tape strips easier (these are a little heavy/unwieldy), and another person to hand me tape strips as needed. I used one set of the “thatch” roll for a top layer and another underneath that for a bottom layer for our tiki area. They’ve been installed for less than a week and temps here have been high 90s (and dry). So far, no issues. Can’t say yet if these are durable enough for a more permanent application as suggested by some of the listing photos, like a faux thatch roof... We put them up for a party, but enjoyed the vibe/look so much we plan to leave them up until they fall down on their own. 😄

Used this for a Tiki Hut table entered into a county fair Table Setting contest. The judges commented on how perfect it was. The price was right and it was easy to use. I adhered it with double sided tape to the table and used a glue gun for the roof. The material quality was perfect as I needed more substance than a grass table skirt. The table placed 3rd in it’s category!

Grew tired of replacing natural thatch every other year. Live in Michigan so even covering the natural thatch in winter only seemed to slow the degrading of the real palm thatch which was cheaper. Hoping the faux thatch will lay down a bit better as it sits in the warm summer so it doesn't look so 'faux'. Or take a heat gun to it to force it to lay over the lip of the roof. FYI I went with roughly a 6 inch overlap of the thatch, to blend the layers a bit. Seems durable though and looks nice. Hopefully the color does not fade much.

The Pros of this Product it's very derable, good for outdoor use, Cons, it's does not take to different types of weather very well,

This product is perfect for bringing some tiki to your life. We used it to go around our pergola for a tiki party. It looks so awesome, we're just going to keep it up year round.
