ECLIPSE Tricia Modern Room Darkening Thermal Rod Pocket Window Curtains for Bedroom (2 Panels), 26" x 84", Pink

These are listed as blackout curtains but they simply are not. This is very disappointing for me as I'm using them to blackout a camper. I had previously ordered other curtains which are very similar to these... but completely shut out the light. Those were discontinued so I couldn't buy them anymore. These looked identical to me but they are almost sheer. They're very easy to see through and light comes through quite easily. They work fine as curtains but it's basically a lie to list them as blackout curtains. Lots of light gets through these. It's a hassle when companies like this lie because now I have to buy another set and reassemble my camper. Not the end of the world but would have been nice if they simply did not list them as blackout curtains which they are not.On the other hand if you need sheer curtains for something these work pretty good as very thin cheap curtains.I'm adding a photo that shows these curtains side by side with actual blackout curtains.

The price is right but the are certainly not “thermal” or “darkening”.I understand that darkening and “black out” are different but these are only “darkening” in the most literal sense. That is, the room is darker than it would be with no curtains at all.See pics. You can see through these curtains, not completely but much more than you can real “room darkening” curtains.They are not thermal protective for the same reason, there’s simply not enough material here to insulate in the slightest. Again, in the most literal sense, I suppose they are “thermal” compared to no curtains at all, but they certainly are nothing like what you’re probably thinking when you think “thermal curtains”.On the other hand, these are dirt cheap compared to real room-darkening and/or thermal curtains that typically cost 3-5x as much.So, if price is your primary concern then these are great. If you want darkening or thermal protection… look elsewhere.

I ordered these curtains in the 95" length and the 84" length for three reasons: 1) they were the correct width and length for a large window and slider door that I wanted matching curtains for; 2) they were blackout curtains; 3) I loved the color. Before I got the curtains out of the package, I was suspicious about whether they were actually blackout curtains because they were so lightweight. Lo and behold, they are thin, there is no backing, and they are NOT blackout curtains. They are definitely room-darkening, but not blackout. Maybe I was sold two reject sets? The description on the package and here on Amazon clearly states that they are blackout curtains and block 99% of light. That is definitely not true - I had a set of IKEA blackout curtains up before I bought these and the difference is noticeable. There was also a pull in the fabric on the 84" set - I have to be careful because I don't want it to tear. So in short: color was as promised ( I love the color) but the product was not. Experiences like this are why I'm buying fewer and fewer things at Amazon.

We were really excited to get these, however the panels were not as wide as disclosed. Even puting the two together, which was not specified, they do not reach the same lengths. We're pretty sad because the color was perfect, but barely half the width, in each panel. We looked for a way to contact the seller but there wasn't one.

The color is nice, the fabric is smooth with a little shine. They're definitely not room darkening though. The pic I included was taken in late afternoon. The fabric is pretty lightweight. Regardless, I needed some cheap curtains and they definitely fit the bill, so I'm not disappointed. As long as you know they're not truly room darkening, you probably won't be disappointed.*updated to add I've purchased more for my tall window, and I'm disappointed that the curtains from the 2 packs are different lengths. Adding pics. I've downgraded my rating due to this.

Different than picture, however, still nice. The purple that was advertised was much darker than I wanted, I wanted the purple that was shown , when I purchased them. I had already purchased some purple and the description on those also we're darker than I needed. So I got these to replace them. These were dark, but I have to use them because I can't afford too, keep spending money finding the desired purple I am looking for. A bit dissippointed, but I will live with my decision. Just wish you were sent what is advertised.

These are great curtains for the price. I needed something cheap for my classroom to cover some book cases. I bought the blue and the yellow from another company. The material was okay. I hemmed them, and threw them in the dryer with a few ice cubes to get the wrinkles out. I have no idea how much light the keep out though. They do an excellent job of hiding junk, though! They arenot very wide panels... If you want fuller looking curtains, you would need 2 sets.

They were not as light blocking as we thought they would be based on reviews and purchasing eclipse before. They ended up being shipped differently than their description which worked in our favor. What it was saying was one panel was actually two. We were so surprised but made it to where we needed a extra set and could still return one of the sets of panels. It’s the perfect touch to our daughter’s room! I wanted just solid pink and with back to college stuff couldn’t even find them. So glad I happened to look on here. Value for money is amazing because it’s almost half of what I would pay for one at Walmart. Reason why it received four and not five stars is because they are not as light blocking as they have previously been and mislabeled online as one panel. They measure the same as the description online but both panels together. Overall great purchase.

Ok so here’s the low down on these curtains. I purchased them for my sons bedroom. We live in the country and with the large windows in his room he couldn’t sleep at night due to the bright sun later at night. They are VERY THIN. Definitely not blackout material. The do filter the light and will work for the sale price. It’s 💯 polyester so they have a silky sheen to them. They don’t hang the nicest. Came super quick and there are 2 panels in a set

I ordered on May 7th, arrived on May 13th. Shipped from the US. I ordered 2 of the Tricia Thermal Patio Door Panel, 100" x 84", Grey to use on my large living room window, which is approximately 8ft wide. Generally I need 4+ wide curtain panels to cover it, but that leads to many gaps between them that let a lot of light in when I don't want it. I purchased two of these to avoid some of those gaps and paired it with a room darkening curtain rod. Quite effective, if you keep in mind that these are room-darkening and not meant to be total blackout. The grommets are decent quality feeling, but plastic. They slide well when opening and closing.Comparing to my old Eclipse brand thermal curtains (the ones that had the rubbery layer on the back that peels, cracks and stick together in the heat), they are as effective at room darkening (even considering my previous ones were black with a thermal coating, and these are lighter grey without coating!) but I cannot yet compare to the thermal aspect. They also look nicer than the previous eclipse brand ones I had.I can also compare to another brand of curtains I've purchased off of Amazon and like, DecoNovo. These Eclipse curtains feel just slightly lower quality than the DecoNovo ones do; these are slightly less room darkening (but again, that is comparing black to these grey), slightly less silky feeling - these are a little rough in comparison. Deconovo are also made of a slightly heavier feeling material. All around if DecoNovo were A+, then these would be an A- in terms of look, effectiveness, and feel. Considering that the DecoNovo brand of the same size and style was significantly more expensive than these, I can live with the quality and price I paid.Overall, I am pleased with these and would recommend.

Nada que ver con lo anunciado. Parece de telas parisina. Qué térmico ni que nada. Mal Amazon, no vendas eso! No bloquea lo que dice... Y así hasta hartarme de lo chafa. Compren lo para un pantalón de primaria. Ya lo devolví!

En el título de la publicación no especifican que el 1.30 mts es el ancho de ambas cortinas y no de cada una como se entiende. a simple vista. El material es tan delgado que hace la función de una cortina normal, por lo que no deben anunciarlo como panel térmico.

No se parece ni el 1% a la foto que publican, se pierde la credibilidad de amazon al no verificar las fotos de los productos vs la realidad de los mismos.
