I purchased this to help my daughter's aid and teacher better understand teaching math to her. It has been awesome.

AMAZING! I love this! It even includes how to find out where to start with your child in fun and creative ways! I am so glad I bought this!

I returned this because this is way too advanced for the Down's I know. When I saw it was about teaching things like how to set up a budget I returned it. I think if they learn how to pay for something and know if they're getting the right change back that's all you can ask for. I bought a different book Learning About Money for Grade 1 which is more appropriate.

I bought this book for my son who is intellectually disabled but not DS. There are lots of great ideas, games, and resources in this book. It is a great supplement to our math curriculum.
