I have to carry ice packs with me to travel because of horrific back pain. They always thaw out along the way. I bought this bag for a trip to New York from PDX and it worked fabulous! All three of my ice packs stayed extremely cold and frozen. The bag itself is so easy to use. It folds quite flat and you can just put it in your freezer a couple days before you leave. It is well-made and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to keep things very cold for a long period of time.

If you have space in your freeze for these bags I would recommend them! It stays cold for about 8 hours! It isn’t leak proof as there are seams inside. However for little leaks it is very easy to wipe up. It does sort of squish flatter but you do need space for these. Even in my hot car it’s able to keep my lunch cold from 6 am to 12pm. Hoping they will come out with more colors and prints!

My husband recently went back to work and wanted a lunchbox. He found a Packit on another site and it was the same price but smaller. I found this one and bought it for him. He absolutely LOVES it. He does not have to put any additional cold packs in this, it folds down nicely and fits into the freezer without issue. He has been using this for a month now and there have been no issues with it. In fact, he raves almost daily about how he can take room-temp bottles of water, place them in the bottom and by lunch time they are cold and stay cold until the end of the work day. We would definitely recommend this item and would definitely buy another one!

Sturdy, can hold a lot, and freezes well (just don’t bring through Denver security I guess…traveled multiple times with a similar one and they almost didn’t let me through recently)

My ever growing teen uses this for a lunchbox. He says it keeps his food cold until at least lunch. We store it in the fridge freezer every night. His only issue is that it is a bit bigger than he needs (but he picked the size so that’s on him). There weren’t many options for sizes between this and the regular lunch boxes.The front pocket is handy for forks and spoons. The main pocket is a good size and can hold a lot. Sometimes you have to push a bit extra to get containers in, because when frozen the side walls are a bit stiff.So far (a month into use) we have had no issues with this cooler bag. We use other Pack-It items and they have all been good.

My kids used to use pack-it lunch bags at school. Now, my son needs one for work and he needs to take a lot more food. This bag was perfect and he loves it.

The cooling feature is great but the bag is quite heavy. Keeps food cold for about half a day.
