BEST YET and I've get the entire series :)
I've read all the pre-quels and follow on books and love this series. I did find the oil rig one got a bit samey and boring and the prevous one about the wolf was too static and a bit tedious at times. but this one is the best yet by a long way - in my opinion anyway! I can't rate this one high enough - It's a ripping yarn half wicker manish and half a jolly exciting action packed adventure. LOVED IT!!!

Another excellent novel in the thrilling Johansson series
Wow! Every single time I finish a Jamie Johansson book, I am always left wondering just how on earth Morgan Greene will top it, and every single time, he outdoes himself by creating masterpiece after masterpiece! I particularly enjoyed seeing a more vulnerable side to Jamie, who has been through so much and gone through one hell of journey. I also really enjoyed the growing partnership between Thorsen and Jamie, as he is not scared to call her out on things and shows her that it’s alright to be vulnerable and let your walls down sometimes. I cannot wait to see where there partnership goes, and where the next book, Ice Queen, will take us, as we were left on a bit of a cliff hanger! Until then, Quiet Wolf was a thrilling read, that at times made you feel uneasy and made you shudder, and at other moments, had me grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Highly recommend it and all of the Jamie Johansson books, this is easily one of my favourite book series!!

Jamie goes Midsommar, in mid winter.
A decent read, silly fun as usual that keeps the attention and if you’re like me you’ll fly though it. However, these Amazon books really need to up the proof reading game, plenty of errors within all of this series but to have one on the back cover is pretty shoddy.

A must read, action packed novel!
Having read all the books in the fantastic DI Jamie Johansson series, I can say that this is my favourite book so far.The story is fantastic and keeps you on the edge of your seat, there are mysterious characters and developments that will shock you.I love how in this book we explore more about Jamie's feelings and personality. We see a softer side to Jamie that we haven't seen before and for the first time we see a more vulnerable side to her.Morgan Greene is one of my favourite authors and he's an incredible writer. I've enjoyed every book in this series and I feel like we've witnessed the beautiful development of Jamie throughout the series. If you haven't read the previous novels I would highly recommend them. Each book is full of drama and suspense.Cannot wait for the next novel Ice Queen. Morgan Greene is one of the few authors that I wait in anticipation for his next novel to be released.

Another gripping page turner from Morgan Greene!
I first read Angel Maker as an Amazon Prime free read and was quickly hooked on these enthralling psychological thrillers with a driven kick-ass heroine!Unlike many books, I couldn’t just read to the end of a chapter and put any of these books down. I quickly found myself hooked into the plots and world created by Morgan Greene, looking for any gap in a busy day to dip back into the pages and see what happens next. And how fantastic it is to have a kick-ass lead heroine, a refreshing change from mainstream with its male detective leads. With Ice Queen due to come out in August, I’ll be reading the first Jamie trilogy set in London and re-read the Scandinavian books. There’s so much action, twists and threads to the series, it’s sure to keep me discovering new aspects and enjoying these books even more!

Another cracker
This is another cracker from this author. This time Jamie and Thorsen head on a search for Wiik's sister in law and her family who seem to have disappeared. The local police department seem uninterested or just simply incompetent especially when it's clear to Jamie that they found thr tracks to prove the family's vehicle left the road.Once again, the bleakness of the wintry countryside is quite vivid along with the hidden ongoing threat of the ever present wolves. Jamie and Thorsen encounter a cult-like crowd who live in a place known only as The Farm and it is clear that there is something unsavoury going on.As usual, there is a lot of violence but this time we see a more softer and personal side to Jamie. Along with the constant twists, the ending was not something I saw coming and is a tantalising hook into the 3rd book in the trilogy which to be honest, can't come soon enough.
