These chairs are a harder material than expected but apper to be very strong and long lasting. I thought they would be made with a recycled softer type plastic i've seen on Polywood and similar outdoor furniture but these seem to be made out of a harder tempered plastic. The best way to explain the material is if you were to drag them across a pool deck everybody within a 1/4 mile will probably hear the offensive screaching like nails on a chaulkboard. They are very comfortable, oversized and sturdy considering they fold flat. The teak color is a bit weird and the hardware is terrible but overall the chairs are a great deal if they hold up as expected. The stainless hardware leaves a lot to be desired and really detracts from the overall quality of the chair. First off the hardware sticks to a magnet so it really shouldn't be called stainless, some of the screws were unuseable because the allen head sockets were not machined correctly for a wrench to fit, the lock nuts actually shear the metal to lock themselves leaving razor sharp metal slivers under the arm rests., Luckily there's not much hardware for these very easy to assemble chairs so i'll be replacing all of it with better quality stainless.

I purchased 4 of these chairs and have a 5th on the way. The chairs are exactly what we wanted and work great. We have then set up around a fire pit in the back yard but can move them to the front yard to watch fireworks on the 4th etc. The chairs can flatten to be carried and are fairly easy to open up when you set them down to sit. They are pretty heavy and are made out of some kind of composite plastic material. They have a natural wood grain look and are easy to clean.One of the first 4 chairs that shipped arrived broken. They packaging is poorly designed and puts the largest and weakest part of the chair in a position to where it must support the entire weight of the chair if anyone ever puts the box down starting with one of the two corners where this part is (inside the box).I requested a replacement part using the Amazon feedback page. The company responded within one day asking some clarifying questions and sent a complete 5th chair as a replacement...which arrived with the same part broken. I requested a replacement again and provided more pictures in an effort to give them more feedback. This time, they shipped just the broken part and now I have 4 working chairs and am happy with my purchase!When it came time to throw away the 5th chair that was shipped, we decided it would be good to have a 5th chair and I asked the company if they would send another replacement part if I paid full chair price. They agreed and set up a new product in Amazon's shop just for me and the part I was requested. In addition to this they asked more clarifying questions because I had incorrectly described which part I wanted them to ship.I realize a long story about how to address a product that twice arrived broken seems like a hassle. However, this company responded to every one of my questions within a day and shipped replacement parts that arrived within a week each time to make it right.The chairs work great and the customer service provided by this company is outstanding.

These (navy blue) modern adirondacks are really nice. Best part is they are comfy and the high back is nice to rest your head against. Height of the chair is perfect for a 5’4” female to have feet flat on ground when seated. The recline seems right and does not aggravate my sciatica. They fold flat which is great and they are not terribly heavy though they are not light either. Assembly was simple though 4 hands are waaay better than 2 and less aggravating. Reasons for 4 stars: screws for the slats go through the front and hence all 100 screw heads are visible taking a little away from the aesthetics but not a huge deal. The slats and parts seem to be hollow in the middle and if chairs are abused longevity could be an issue but with proper care should be fine. When I lean back the chair shifts a bit and settles into its full recline and creaks. This happens at every sitting so over time that could cause some wear and tear but maybe thats just the nature of a folding chair. Overall, well worth The money, beautiful and comfortable.

These chairs are excellent quality. Love the color. They are comfortable to sit in as well. Super fast shipping. Able to assemble in a snap. I have 6 and would buy more if needed.

These modern Adirondack chairs are such a great find! They're heavy, sturdy, high quality and easy to assemble in 15 minutes. The craftsmanship, wood grain and metal label accent on the back of the chair are impressive and make the chairs seem much more expensive than they were. They are comfortable to sit in and I love that we can fold these down to stow them away. I've received so many compliments already. I ordered four chairs and one had a cracked support beam. The Yefu customer service team quickly replied to my email in less than 24 hours. I asked the vendor of they could send a replacement part and they shipped an entire new chair within the week. The chairs are packed really well and are handled with care with various sized supportive styrofoam pieces. I'm so impressed with the vendor and these chairs!

We are extremely happy with these chairs! We recently had a fire pit built and wanted 6 Adirondack chairs to complete our fire pit. We decided to go with these chairs by YEFU because the were foldable and they had good reviews and we are so glad we did. Shipping was fast and seamless and we had no issues with 5 out of 6 chairs but we did end up stripping one of the bolts/nuts on one of the chairs but no problem because we contacted YEFU through Amazon and the customer service is too notch! The sent out a whole new set of screws and 2 new pieces for our chair to fix the issue. We’ve also had the chairs rained on a few days and there is no issue with warping or anything else. If you are looking for great quality, functional Adirondack chairs with great customer service then look no further.
