JBK Terra Cotta Bread Saver

This goes great with my new bread pan and works well.

Followed directions and added to loaf of home made bread. So far so good.

This was cracked when I got it today... hopefully, this won't affect its usefulness.

So easy to use and softens the bread. My husband was very impressed when he got out some bread and saw how soft it was. It does the job!

I use this in conjunction with a bread saving Tupperware storage keeper. It works terrific, the only bad thing is you have to remember to re-activate it (by putting it in water) every few days or it will dry up (I am in a very dry climate, so maybe in more humid climates it lasts longer). Also, if it sits against a piece of bread I have noticed it will start to grow mold (ick!). Still, it works!

I purchased this to use dry and keep my bread from turning moldy so quickly and it works well. We have been having VERY humid weather lately and I put my bread in a plastic container with this on top and my bread is lasting for a week or more. Before I got this my bread was molding in 2 or 3 days.

I bought one of these terracotta bread savers years ago and couldn’t find them anywhere. Then a friend of mine said she bought her on Amazon. It is great for fresh loaf bread, rolls, muffins and pastries. I am ordering more for friends and myself to have extras.

Usually, I'm too lazy to review products, but these really are worth a mention. I have no idea why they work, but they do. I've just bought a second one for my "Bread Rolls" container to go with the Keeper I already use in my bread box. They definitely keep bread fresher for longer, which is very important when one lives on one's own.

This is an amazing product. Not that bread lasts very long in our home however it helps to prevent the bread drying up and also seems to help the bread last longer.Would truly recommend this.

Works well but you have to make sure it doesn't touch the bread as it will make that part mouldy.

Hard to believe but this does work. My homemade bread, no matter whether it is rolls, loaves, baguettes or anything else, now last fresh until they are consumed. Should be used with an airtight container for the best results.
