Sta Tru Silver Alloy Road Hub Front Wheel (700X25)

The wheel arrived much quicker than stated. It is just fine for my purposes - general fitness riding. The wheel is true and came complete. This is the second wheel I have purchased. The previous one is holding up well.As always with a new wheel, check the bearings. This wheel was complete, but one side was barely greased. The previous wheel was lacking three or four bearings, besides needing grease. With that said (those are pretty minor problems) I would recommend these wheels.

Feels ok. I'm no expert when it comes bike parts, but this wheel works for my needs. I have a short commute and my bike with this wheel gets me there with no issue, so no complaints.

I bought this to replace the front wheel on my commuter road bike. I was hesitant because of the price, but it has been great so far. The wheel is true and brakes well enough. It is on the heavy side, but again, this is for my commuter. It came drilled for a Schraeder valve( I run presta but no big deal). It did not come with rim tape. But I had a spare roll laying around. For a cheap, functional wheel it is great. Would buy again.

Compared to the original wheel I purchased this wheel to replace, this wheel is of superior structural quality. The rim wall on this wheel is thicker than on the stock wheel. The wider well, reduces outward pressure caused by my 700x25c hardcase tires at their max pressure of 120psi. The thicker construct and wider rim gave my brakes an increase in stopping power by reducing travel distance between shoe and rim. From the moment I test drove the wheel, I knew I wanted to install a matching rear wheel to balance the wheels out, I am now ordering the appropriate rear wheel for my bike, a 1987 Trek 330.

Wheel was already bent when I received it. Perhaps a sign of bad handling; or a sign of bad quality.

Easy to put on the wheel did not have tape around the heads of the spokes. I had to wrap it myself with electrician's tape. I think other wheels that I ordered were already taped. Once installed I can feel a reduction in resistance. Considering replacing rear wheel too.

Everything seems to be working fine.

Amazon to the rescue. Standard wheel for a last minute replacement. Wheel comes with a quick release skewer which is easy to install. The wheel is not as good as original but its trued. I'll update after a month of use. Received it yesterday and today I already did 17 miles on it. Support your bike shop if things are affordable lol
