We bought these Magnetic Cabinet Locks for when our grandkids come visit. They are very easy to put on. To install: you clean the cabinets or drawers with alcohol first, then you place the magnetic lock on. It is best if you allow a minimum of 24 hours for them to dry. The magnetic lock can be left unlocked when you don’t need to use them, and locked when you do. If you want to you can screw them in as well.We keep the magnetic opener up above the hood of the stove out of the kids way.One thing I would recommend is that you don’t allow your kids or grandkids to play with magnetic alphabet letters on the refrigerator if you’ve installed these because they might be able to open the locks.

We have used these for a few years. One broke so I needed a new set and they work fine for keeping small kids and pets out of cabinets.The hardest part for me was installing them so that they worked. Being retired it is more difficult for me to get in and out of cabinets and work from my back looking up to get the catch installed. Once I did that and had them properly placed these work very will. I do suggest that you use a pencil to mark the installation spot on the magnetic latch portion so that it is easy to place them or replace them (is was my case.).I fully recommend these.

I Love this set and the kitchen looks beautiful because you can't see that the cabinets are childproofed. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE MAGNETS ON THE COUNTER LIKE ME BECAUSE I DID THAT AND THE MAGNET STUCK TO A POT THAT I PUT ON THE STOVE. RIGHT AFTER I TURNED THE STOVE ON, THE MAGNET WENT UP IN FLAMES . I blew the fire out fast but just want to let people know to put the magnets back on the fridge or wherever you decide to put them so it does not happen to you.

I needed more locks since I recently moved into a larger home and my toddler is getting into every cabinet he can find. I figured out the install with the tool provided which was simple enough and am well secure in the office, kitchen den and even had enough left for my workshop. No complaints about the adhesion and there are extra tapes included if ever I need to re-position any locks in the future.

I was blown away at the simplicity of this product and installed 5 locks within 10-15 minutes! It would have been faster but I was chasing after my 1 year old daughter! I quickly put them to the test and my daughter couldn’t open them no matter how hard I tried! I can now have peace of mind knowing she will not be able to access dangerous chemicals, knives, etc! These cabinet locks are amazing! They were pretty easy to install and work well to keep my daughter out of cabinets. The only issue I have had is that 1 of the 12 locks is slightly defective and gets stuck in the unlocked position until you jiggle the cabinet a little. It’s inconvenient but I have not contacted the seller as the rest of the locks work so well and the price was much better than other locks I have looked at.

I love these locks! Finally my daughter cannot open all the draws and cabinets, and I don't have to repack everything multiple times a day. I love that they are stuck on with adhesives and not drilled in, so they do not ruin the furniture. The magnet is quite strong, and the mechanism works well. Some people might find it annoying to have to open the draw with a magnet "key" each time, but it works really well for me.The corner pieces did not stick on my furniture

We just moved from an apartment to a house and were looking for a way to babyproof all of the at-risk areas in the kitchen, bathrooms and home office. This kit has more locks than any of the other ones I saw. Once the first lock was installed, the rest went very quickly and the tape is really strong. Love that you don't see any of the locks and that you can disable them when they aren't needed.

My father is 91 years old and has Alzheimer’s. I have the same need to keep him out of cupboards and drawers in the kitchen and bathroom that you would for a child. In his confusion he will do things like use shaving cream as toothpaste and try to cut off his adult diapers with knives from the kitchen so I needed something strong enough to stop him from opening the drawers/cupboards. I love that these have a magnetic opening device which makes it super easy for me to open. I used the red tape that is included to install them and it works great. He has the strength of an adult and can’t open the doors. They are working perfectly for us.

For all the parents be careful there is a small magnet inside these locks that would fall out after a while and it is EXTREMELY dangerous for kids as they could easily swallow them. 3 magnets fell out so far.

I work with adults of varying learning disabilities. After being given the clearance to put these on the cupboards in the kitchen (health and safety concerns), I fitted them to a few. Easy to attach, although I have had to use screws on one, it is an adult trying to open the cupboard, after all. Being able to disable the fasten is a great bonus. Haven't used the corner cushions for a table that are included as a freebie.

Even better than I expected. Such a cool idea and so easy to install and use. Love the magnet keys and that you can sort of switch the lock off if you don't want to constantly undo it while you're using cupboards. Seriously, best baby proofing thing I've ever used. Also props for the funny little instruction "can be screwed in incase your child is Hercules" gave me a laugh

Updated review, my son is 1 and has managed to break these locks. While the stickers are super strong he has managed to break the plastic levers by pulling so hard the catch broke and the drawers are now a free for all! This is the third one he has broken... I reckon he may be the little Hercules you cannot guard against!
