While I haven't built, I was excited to see the 78th FIW markings of TR-892. I father was the crew chief on 892 and designed its paint scheme. If you search, you can see a b&w photo of 892 and my father is the airman at the front of the aircraft who has his back to the camera. Unfortunately the colors of the red white and blue are switched. This is understandable as the blue as a metallic blue that was not dark. The red is the color that is at the front of the tip-tanks and the blue is after the white. The stars were the same blue. I sure wish I had a color picture of 892 but color cameras were not common then.
