Let Me Pimp or Let Me Die

Ok I will say this, As my header says, I am not yet done reading the entire book. It is just that good. I only chose to do my review NOW rather than wait, because the request came to my email already and I really don't want to chance forgetting to leave one. With out repeating what others have to say as far as including certain events and/or characters in the book, I will just state WHY I enjoyed it.It doesn't matter whether you can relate to the lifestyle or not, but this author has painted such a vivid picture, that I believed everything he told, simply because I could SEE it. To me, that is a powerful gift to have, and maybe now that I think about it, I could SEE it because it was HIS truth. I just really enjoyed this book and I really hope to hear more stories from this author in the future. My favorite girl is Yuki because she was there from the start and I KNOW that girl.(Not personally).. but I wonder where she is today.. Maybe Caujuan can do a follow up story on the girls... ANYWAY.. I will finish up and may leave another review once I complete the book

At first when I looked at the cover of this book I thought "Oh another street novel" but; I was really blown away after reading it. I couldn't put down my ipad. It was a really good read. There are a lot of things in there that I didn't even know took place in real life. I think Mr. Mayo should start working on a movie for this book. I know the movie would give us a better visual of the content in the book. I hope there is a part two to this book. When Snoop Dogg made his short film; I noticed a lot of fake pimps running around thinking that they learned how to become a real pimp. I think if they read this book they would know the real pros and cons for what a pimp does. Nicely Done!

Daygo is one of the wildest cities in America, however, within that city lives such a rich culture full characters that are full of game! Glasses Up to the author of this book.

I enjoyed this book. The lifestyle has always intrigued me. I couldn't imagine living it but I enjoy reading about it. This book gave me an inside look at that world from a safe distance. I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this book.

I had no clue what I was getting into when I started reading this book. I never pictured myself enjoying a book about Pimping, the Players, and the Game but once I started reading I was hooked. I found myself rooting for the up and coming JP and hating on the ruthless players like F.A.B. I enjoyed the flow this book had to it, real easy to get lost in the words and love and hate the players. I guess it's true when they say 'Pimpin ain't easy', but this was a good look into the mind/life/struggles of a Pimp! Loved it.

This was the 1st time I read this author's work and I must say it had my attention from beginning til end it is a true page turner...... I must say I love the way JP kept his "women" he provided what they need and showed them respect even tho they were "hoes".... This book also shows that no matter what you do for ppls sometimes its gonna always be that one bad apple that will bring everyone down if they dont have their way... All in all this is a must read

I love this book I am not the one to just read anything. You really can't read a book by its cover, this book was better than I imagined it could be. Their was very vivid detail I felt i was actually their half the time. I could feel it in the authors soul that he took every inch of his time and patience into this book. Only one word to describe this book EPIC !!

I want to say this is a very good book I am surprise by it cant wait for the next one there is a lot of gems in the book how you do things it could be any business that is important that needs to be handle well like planning a great vacation with your wife queen how you run your castle ect. very good book 5 stars keep up the great work king jp& queen yu kie CS out.
