Low profile, uses very little space. Easy to install. I tested it with a couple of 18650 batteries in series and then compared the reading to a professional DMM. Likewise, with a 9V battery and a 12V LiFEP04 battery. The readings matched very closely. This was enough of a test for me since I'll be using it to monitor a nominally 12V system.

Installed on riding mower, let's me know the voltage at a glance. The stock amimeter only showed if it was charging.

Great little dedicated volt meter, but it is consistently 0.2 volt low in readings for 13.5 volts compared with 3 digital multimeters which all read to within 0.003 volts of each other. 0.2 volts means the difference between 90% (13.3 volts) and 100% (13.5 volts) for a LiFePO4 battery; but it still gives a good approximate for everyday purposes.

Easy to use. You'll need to buy some wire. I bought 18g or 16g wire for this. Hillbilly hotwired it around my cigarette outlet fuse. Put the black under a bolt attached to metal and to the frame. Doesn't have any draw so it's fine. Accurate enough for me to see if anything isn't functioning right or if my starting voltage is low. Haven't had any issues with parasitic draw when parking for a long time. However I do have a f250 with two batteries. I think it would be fine on a little car too. Look up fuse tappers if you want to be legit about your install. No it doesn't wire to your car battery.

I needed a dash mount voltmeter to monitor starting battery voltage and charging rate when driving UTV. Drilled a 1-1/8" hole in plastic dash and flush mounted voltmeter. 12 VDC power comes from the hot side of UTV headlight switch that turns on/off with ignition switch. Spade terminals on back of voltmeter are labeled + and -, sturdy and accessible. The description provided says the unit is waterproof, where time will tell, where the display face lacks any protective cover. Digitial output is easy to read except when the face is in direct sunlight and the display is washed out. The voltage is accurate, and varies real time. First impressions are this is an excellent voltmeter. Longevity will take time, and updates posted if this changes.

I first bought the blue color. Couldn't see it in daylight. I tried again... green... much better, decent even in daylight.

Installed meter on my generator to check voltage on battery. Generac did not come with a way to know if the battery is low or dead. Installed an off/on switch and wired to gauge. User friendly now that I can see voltage with a flip of a switch & recharge the battery before it’s to late when power is out. Slim thickness and can be installed with or w/o the bezel in a small space. Gauge reads correctly with my multimeter equipment. Am happy with install and the convenience this gauge has provided.

Added this it my RV. Easy to install in on a wall that is hollow. Simple to connect using the connectors provided.

This meter will survive shipping in the same box as a 15kg electric motor (well.. it really did. You were lucky amazon). Meter has only 2 leads. So you plus neg and pos wires and it is done. Display is easy to read even in sunlight, accuracy is within 0.1V and power consumption is around 15 mA. This meter fits into a round hole and it has 2 chanfreined holes for fixing screws. Screws are included as well as two crimpable wire terminals. I'm really happy with this product. I will buy again for sure.

One is now installed on my Snow Blower so that I can turn the switch and see if the battery for the light system needs to be charged. It also shows the power draw on the battery and whether or not I want to turn on both frontal 18v LED Lights and the rear amber marker lights. Being waterproof and robust, I am not concerned about it shorting out from being connected. Easy install for your DIY. I use outdoor connectors for the wiring, so it is protected from disconnection from vibration of the Snowblower as well. Not super bright, but legible enough for my use as it is meant to be a reference point for my power needs. This will allow me to see the battery power visually without having to open the small battery box to manually test the battery.
