BBQ Butler Full Length Grill Cover - Fits Traeger 34 Series and Texas - Heavy Duty Smoker Cover - Black

I'm having a problem finding a cover that fits my original Traeger full size (075) smoker with the large round hopper. It measures 59"L x 24"W including stack and handles. According to the listing for the medium cover (63"x28") it should have been baggy....didn't come close to fitting, way too small. Discovered listed measurements are wrong. Cover only measures 63"L if it is laying flat on floor...meaning no width. The seams of the cover are arranged in such a way that is almost impossible to determine an actual width. So the design actually allows some flexibility in the width of your smoker. However, the total width and length together must be less than 63", so use that as your measurement. Assuming the large is measured the same way, it won't fit either. However, it will probably fit Traeger's newer model of this smoker with the smaller square hopper. *******If anyone knows of a descent cover that will fit the old 075 Traeger, please let me know with a comment to this review.*******Allow me to rant for a second....I don't know what idiots they have providing measurements for grill covers on Amazon. Most of the listings give you the measurements for the package in which cover is mailed. What the heck good is that??!!! In the case of this listing, I guess they at least tried to give measurements for the cover itself. But really, how hard is it to measure a grill cover? Vendors need to get their poop in a group and find someone that can actually use a tape measure and understands basic dimensions...and measure the product and not the stupid package. Rant finished.Cover itself is fairly heavy nylon weave material on the outside with some type of poly coating on the inside. Although the cover is supposed to be waterproof and UV resistant, other reviews indicate it doesn't last. Based on my experience with grill covers, this is not unusual for most covers. I live in western Oregon and covers will last me 2 before they start leaking, but we only get hot, dry, sunny conditions 3 months of the year. The poly usually ends up cracking over time and lets water in. So I planned to use seam sealer and 303 UV protectant spray to start and maybe spray with scotch guard or some other waterproof spray as the cover aged.So I deducted one star for wrong dimensions, and one star for requiring extra UV and waterproof protection.

Fits my traeger renegade elite I bought on prime day well after I take down the front shelf. The reason I gave four stars is if hold cover up to the light can see decent amount of light through seams in some areas. Using seam sealer on it like kind you would use for tent will solve the problem. Slight odor to the material which dissipates

I have an old Traeger BBQ075 with a barrel type hopper. The large version (which is stated to measure 74" wide) of this product DOES fit my my smoker. It is tight, but I can get it on and it will do its job.I am giving it 4 stars because the material feels flimsy and I don't expect to last more than 2 to 4 seasons. The original cover I bought with my Traeger felt more like canvas and lasted probably 15 years before the elements caused it to shrink and no longer fit over BBQ.If anyone finds a better solution for an old BBQ075, please reply as a comment.

I ordered the large cover for Pit Boss 820FB because the description states that information. The Medium is where this grill should be listed. (Check measurements before ordering). The cover comes inside out so make sure the stitching is in the inside. Also only has single stitching but I think it should be ok. I am keeping it since I am able to tuck the extra material between the smoker and pellet bin and looks ok. I did submit a description change to Amazon so this should be corrected soon.

The previous cover started to tear and was worn out. This one appears to be a much more durable material. I highly recommend this grill cover. I use on my traeger renegade elite.

This cover is awesome! So much thicker than the one we got from Traeger on our little smoker. The quality is great, perfect fit and seems like it will last a long time. Definitely a great buy for the money.

Fit our older treager very well. I liked that the cover for the chimney isn't a tight fit. That makes it easier to take the cover off. I gave it 4 stars because the seem around the top of the chimney has a small hole where they didn't catch the edge of the fabric when it was sewn. It's an easy fix, once I drag my sewing machine out.
