Briwax Original Furniture Wax 16 Oz - Golden Oak

Disappointed in the container in which the product is packed. Received on time as promised, but the lid had popped off and some of the wax had leaked out. Have not used the wax yet, but anticipate no problems with it given the reviews of others. Suggest the producer look at the quality and performance of the packaging used. Will try the product as it is not eligibile for return, but will not order again.Update 051217: Used this product finish a light-colored, soft wood crate. Produced a beautiful finish. Two coats, buffed out each coat w/ wax buffing brush. Upgrade my eval to 4 stars. Adequate packaging would have earned 5.

Absolutely love this! Our oak flooring was worn down and all scuffed up and ugly underneath the desk where previous home owners pulled the desk chair in and out. The rest of the flooring was fine. In five minutes I was able to fix it with Briwax so it’s not even noticeable now.

And because it contains a petroleum base it can't be returned according to amazon policy.The product photo is hard to read the fine print and it does not include the ingredients list (just the edge).It was also delivered by throwing the box over my fence: not by opening the gate as my instructions state.Really unhappy with this purchase.

The smell from the product was too intense had to dispose of it It smelled up my laundry room. I will try something else instead

Puts down a protective coating with a wonderful luster on wood. Fumes permeate room, recommend ventilation of room you are working in. Have to use a little elbow grease to buff it into surface. Worth it though.

great stuff for antiques

This stuff is great. It is generally the only finish I apply after finish sanding. I apply it to bare wood, then recoat it a day or two later and I have a beautiful, durable finish that I can easily touch up or repair if there is damage later. I wouldn't do without it.

Tried this based on recommendations and love the stuff. Easy to apply. Creates a very nice finish. Can always add more if needed in the future. Color is very light, which is what I wanted.
