Best purchase
Not only was the uninstallation of my old product a seamless process, but this new product arrived with everything I needed, making the transition effortless. The design of the tool that attaches to the roller blade and the holder has been significantly improved, showcasing a modern and up-to-date approach. This upgrade has breathed new life into my 20-year-old roller blades, saving me the expense of purchasing a brand new pair, which would have cost me $120. This product has proven to be a valuable investment, both in terms of convenience and cost-effectiveness.

Plastic didn't hold (update.....operator error)
Please disregard my previous review. Installer error. My apologies to this company, I installed the clamp backwards. Having recognized my mistake, and rotated the buckle 180 deg, the straps work perfectly. This strap did exactly what it needed to do. My skate is whole and I would definitely recommend this product!

Repaired old youth sized Rollerblades
I selected these because they appeared to be the narrowest straps available that might fit on a youth sized Rollerblade pair. They did though the buckle was slightly wider than advertised. I trimmed a couple of inches off the length to match the old straps. Not to hard to drill out the old rivet and install these screws and nuts.We will see how durable they are.

Great replacement for old busted buckles.
I had an old pair of blades that had a broken buckle. Went out and bought a new pair of skates, only to find out they were not as comfortable as my 20 year old pair. It seems like all the new ones are like shoes that have rollers on the bottom. Mine were made with a rigid plastic outer shell that actually holds your feet where they were supposed to. After finding these replacement buckles and replacing my old bearings, I'm happy to say, I've got my old skates back and they feel like they were supposed to. The only hiccup was that I had to drill out the old rivets. The holes for the new buckles didn't line up 100%, but that same drill bit pressed to the side opened up the hole good enough to get the screws through. I also had to trim off a bit of the length of strap. But either way, I'm still very happy with this purchase.

Just Don’t Buy My Friend
It’s been 20 years since you wore those rollerblades. They still fit but the plastic straps have heat cycled in your parent’s garage for decades and are so brittle they crumble at the gentlest of touches. You Amazon it and find these bad boys. You order. You review the instructions and drill out the old straps. These install like a dream and all of the hardware lines up. Perfection.Your kids are excited to see your skating prowess. Your wife warns you she will laugh when you fall. You strap in. You are Iron Man. Then you position yourself to stand up and you hear the teeth ratchet smoothly out of the clips. You check the groove, you look at the clamp. Zero chance this would ever hold - just too shallow. You realize your old rollerblades without shin support are now more of an imminent threat to your tailbone that you are willing to risk. The kids are disappointed. Your athletic AND handyman skills are questioned. No more Iron Man.Your wife wants to see a fall. America’s Funniest Home Video is already passively running on the Ring doorbell. She points out the large zip ties on your tool bench and you get to work. Daisy chained zip ties worth $0.58 keep the rollerblades tight against your calves. The dream lives. Hero status returns as you roll out of the garage. You feel good. So what you need wire cutters to take off your skates each time? Helpful reminder every outing to write your second-ever Amazon review.Just don’t even waste your time on these. Buy a massive pack of zip ties and some good wire cutters. More useful than you think.
