Like having a new laptop again
My old battery died after seven years, bought this one as the original Dell part.Quite easy to fit took 20 minutes, just watch a YouTube video first.Had cheap laptop batteries in the past they don`t last a long time, so don`t waste your time.

Seems like Genuine Dell Battery at very competetive price
Was slightly concerned as to whether this Battery would be a genuine Dell replacement as price was quite competetive.. The packaging suggested this was the case and the appearance seemed to be identical to the battery in my Dell Lattitude 3590. I did not want to risk cheap non Dell batteries. On installation full charge seems to provide 5-7 hours life depending on the power settings which compares well with the battery time when the laptop was new. So would recommend. Installation fairly straightforward. Take care not to crack the plastic base which has to be removed fully to fit the replacement battery. Also take care not to disturb the power supply cable to the hard disk which plugs in alongside the battery connector. Once the battery is fitted ensure the connector is pushed in fully and the hard disk connector next to it also pushed well onto the connector before replacing the plastic cover.

Genuine Dell Battery
Swapped over new battery into my laptop with no issues and it works perfectly just as it did when the laptop was brand new, I have bought cheaper compatible battery in the past and found them to be badly fitting and a waste of money really,It’s well worth paying a bit more to get a genuine battery.

Not quite full capacity as stated but did work and last ok
Wasn't quite full capacity when installed and did lose capacity more rapidly than I expected but has lasted for a year or so of heavy usage before retiring the laptop.

DOA
Packing was perfect so its not the delivery company, battery was properly packaged iternaly & had snapped screw fittings, gave it a test & it wont even get past 0% charged. Feels like it was a used item repackaged.Got another battery from a business supplier & its perfect so lesson learned her, quick batteries are not good batteries.

Didn't work.
Unfortunately it just didn't work at all, despite stated as being correct for the particular Dell laptop and following the exact instructions. As a lithium battery Royal Mail will not accept this for return by post, but Amazon resolved the problem satisfactorily
