I don't like drilling holes in my truck to install add-ons. My 2008 Colorado used existing holes in the hood brace which accepted a nylon insert into which you inserted a screw, similar to the way a license plate is fastened. My 2018 Colorado appears to have "blind" holes (not drilled), but the AVS ignored them altogether, and I had to drill 4 holes. Overall, it looks good as I expected it would, but I always removed my old one when I did the buffing of the truck. This one I probably won't be removing.

Had this AVS hood protector on my previous truck. So when I traded I bought another one.Easy to install no clips, no screw this and that. Just peel the off the strips and stick.in place.It would be easier with 2 people but I put it on myself. Only 3 weeks now but no problems. Great addition to my truck.

Looks good, went on easy time will tell if it last or if it will break and Crack after the sun bakes it

The media could not be loaded.  Very nice bugshield easy too install I do recommend using a heat gun too warm up the adhesive of you live a cold climate

I live in an area that has what we call "love bugs", nothing eats them, they are very acidic and quickly damage car paint. They "love" to fly over the roads due to the heat of the asphalt. I did not have the deflector when I bought my truck, and I was washing these things off my front grill and hood every 2 days. Haven't had to was my hood or front roof since I installed this.

The deflector is a nice addition to my truck but the adhesion tabs are in a oddball spot, however, once screwed in the product was solid.

its a good product...may help stop some flow of bugs and stones

I've had an Amazon account for 15+ years and have never experienced such a misleading and unhelpful third-party seller. The item is not as described -- claimed to be a self-adhesive bug deflector but actually requires drilling into the hood of your vehicle to be able to be used. Worse, when requesting a refund, the buyer (not seller) is responsible for shipping and a 20-50% restocking fee. Terrible experience all around! Avoid at all costs...

Matches the matte look on the 2022 Colorado. Fits perfectly. Don't peel the tape all at once and try to reposition because the tape is very sticky. Get the tape corners peeled back a bit and get it in place before peeling the whole strip.

I don’t like the idea of drilling holes in my truck especially when you can see this item will not fit without a bunch of playing with things that should be taken into consideration by the manufacturer. I expect a bit of fiddling around but this is to much and the product was not what I saw online. Yes I received it quickly and scratch free but now I’m sending it back will spend a little more and get something with less trouble.

Bon produit donne un beau look au véhicule. Facile à installer, mais il faut que le capot soit très propre. Protège très bien le devant du capot.

Deflector arrived with a decent amount of scratches and marks on it.The 3m clear protection sheet did not help and the clip went through the plastic and scratched the paint on my hood.
