Very quiet on 1st 2 speeds but a bit noisy on highest fan speed. Something rattles, Don't use the ice part. It gives a great breeze without it.

I was hoping this would have more of an air conditioning effect, but it is really just a cool air fan. The fan is pretty powerful though. It comes with 2 small hard plastic ice packs. But they are useless for cooling. So we just add ice to the water and it does a pretty good job of cooling. When it is in the 90's outside we can get our room to cool from the high 70's to the low 80's mid afternoon. So not super cool. But a healthier option than the older fans.I like the tall sleek look. It has a few speeds, etc.The water drawer is not super user friendly. You have to clean it once a week. It requires a small screwdriver to get out. Once you have done it you should be ok for future. But still a pain.If I had it to do over again, for the price I would probably buy it again.

I have a small house and the only air conditioning is an ancient through the wall air conditioner in the living room. I purchased this cooler to help cool my kitchen. It doesn't take up a lot of space. It's easy to fill and the remote control helps with adjusting the air flow to exactly where you want it to be. I live in eastern Washington where the humidity is very low and I welcome the additional humidity that this adds to my home. It is also easy to clean and there is a handy YouTube video showing how to disengage the pump for cleaning. Another bonus is that it is very quiet.

First off when I received the fan, the box that the fan was in was so badly beaten up that the 2 pieces of foam keeping the fan from moving during shipping were in a couple pieces. Second off the fan is obviously cheaply made. Very loud on the quitest setting and I found the "sleep mode" more annoying than anything. As far as it's cooling capabilities, it barely cools a small bedroom on high speed being left on for over 48 hours straight. Definitely not what was advertised and next time I purchase a fan I will be going with a different company.

I purchased this product last summer and recently attempted to use it again. Upon turning on the fan, I noticed that there was some noise coming from the main motor, but unfortunately, the blades were not rotating which resulted in no air being produced. Although the water pump is functioning properly, I am quite disappointed with this experience.

To cool my front room in trailer. I like the remote control and no noise to bother me. I love the ice packs you can refreeze to help cool. A lot better than getting ice all the time. I wish it had a chime to tell you when water level was full, as it is you have to listen closely for it to stop trickling down or you might run it over. Lot better than my noisy fans.

I like this fan and bought after seeing the good reviews as to how quiet it is, as it is for use at night. While it works well and generally runs quietly, it has a regular rattling noise as it runs - which seems to be due to a loose bearing or something catching within the mechanism. I contacted the company who promised to replace it, but since then have heard nothing and have no replacement.One of the questions answered mentioned that there is no beeping as you change settings - this is not the case. It beeps twice with every change.In summary, you can get pretty much the same fan at your local Walmart for half the cost as the advertised advantages of quiet operation are not there.

Filter and water system is not really worth the hassle, but makes a good fan.If you need cool - you must get an air conditioner if this is required.
