Great tool to have in the bag.
I was skeptical about this, but I've only tried it one direction and worked perfect. I used it from Denecke Jb1, to a Tentacle Sync 3.5mm to Sony FX3 micro usb cable.My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be, it only needs to be about 4 inches long. It's a jumper. I know that camera people hate long extra cable on their cameras.

Shorts out a monaural plug
Be careful if you plan to use a monaural 3.5mm plug. The socket is stereo with the tip and ring shorted together. This is actually done at the BNC end. The barrel of the monaural plug will contact the ring terminal and short the tip to barrel so the signal will be shorted out.

Works great to pump audio waves to my oscilloscope
Used this cable to get audio waves to a cheap oscilloscope for rudimentary audio analysis. Plug n play, no problems, no setup, accepts a 3.5mm cable with a satisfying click, durable cable, good connection, works great for my use case.
