I could not recommend this thing enough!! I have chronic tendonitis in my ankle and sometimes I just need a good “icing”. My physical therapist’s office used this on me and I loved it. It’s very “cooling”, so its much more tolerable than any other ice pack. This size works great for ankles, knees, elbows, necks, wrists, stuff like that.

I discovered Elasto-Gel at my Physical Therapist where I was getting PT for my very painful broken ankle.I usually hate putting ice on any part of me, but Elasto-Gel was so comfortable that I asked my therapist where to get one for home use, and she said Amazon. Loved this wrap.

Does not leak, ever. Chills well in the freezer and heats quickly in the microwave, whichever you need. Heavy for its size but manageable. Stays flexible when frozen. Heats evenly. Velcro strap snags on soft fabric, but it works well if care is taken with it. Physical therapists I have spoken with say Elasto-gel wraps last for years, so they may be worth the higher price. This is a good length to wrap around smaller joints like wrists, knees, ankles and hands.

This ice pack stays soft, bendy, flexible, even when in the freezer for days, or weeks! It stays cold for a long time too! I highly recommend having at least one if your freezer for those times that you never really think you’ll need one and it’s there to save the day!
