Anji Mountain Standard Chairmat, 48" x 52", Natural

I bought one for me years ago. The others in the office are the normal clear plastic and would only last for a bout a year or so. When they started showing wear and tear I was told to get everyone a new mat. They are so much better because they roll up for carpet cleaning and roll out just as easy. They look so much richer and last a long time. Mine has been used for about three years and it still looks new.

I really wanted this to work. Looks nice, but immediately dented with every roll of the chair wheels. Then in one day the edges were warped up over one inch on each side. This was on berber carpet in an office. Perhaps on a hard wood floor it would work. However, the bamboo wood is soft and dented with every roll. within just a few days of use it looked AWFUL!!!NOT recommended - especially for almost $200

For the price, this floor mat is fine. My main complaint is that it does not grip the floor (both polished concrete and commercial carpet) all that well. I have to reposition this every day. The care instructions for this floor mat do say that the office chair required "hardwood casters," which cost another $20. If you do not have hardwood casters, you should get them now. With the right casters, this floor mat will resist scratching and denting. The wrong casters will chew it up in a week. It is a good floor mat, but you got to take care of it just like any other hardwood.

We've had this mat down for about a month now near a rather high-traffic area of our home, to help protect the hardwood floor under our computer desk. I was very pleased at how well the natural mat matched our hardwood floor; you can tell it's there, but only upon second glance. We did follow the recommendations of others and changed out the office chair's castors for some that are designed for hardwood floors, and the mat is still in great shape.

Not a low-maintenance inexpensive solution to a rolling office chair on carpet. The mat is already splintering after only about a year. It slides all over the place and has to be repositioned frequently. I wouldn't buy it again.

Kind of expensive and will not stay in place on low nap berber carpet.

Less than two years in and starting to chip.

Great product - bamboo is much more durable than I expected.
