This product is sealed and I haven't noticed any wood smell from it at all. I love this table. It is a perfect for my Quantum 9960!

Q: Would this table hold a printer that is 25" wide - 18 lbs? It is an inkjet, and shakes while printing - is this stable enough?

It may shake the table some but it should hold it just fine. I use to sew and have no problems
