Steph has a great way of writing about creative business development that is astute, informative, wise with a lovely sprinkle of humour. This book is not about telling you what to do (as all business are different); it tells you the key issues that a business owner must consider and then gets you to drill down to how these issues relate to your own business. It certainly makes you fee you have a mentor popping out the pages that is talking just to you.One area I found super valuable were the pages of questions Steph poses in each chapter, so you can explore your thoughts / answers to these and scribble it all down in one place. I've found this really handy when referring back to a chapter, as I'd forgotten my thought processes on some of the topics ...but my thoughts were all there. This definitely adds to the information gained from the book as my notes are all related to my business. Steph also provides links to other really invaluable free information - all very good and worthwhile information. So, you buy a book, but get far more than what's in the book.This is a must purchase for any newbie and developing business.... or any business than needs to just check they are optimising all their options to grow.

I am half way and this book is so helpful already, I am in Steph,s facebook group and regularly watch her live videos and she knows her stuff. If you want no fuss excellent tips to help your Etsy store definitely buy this. She provides so much value.

I’ve been reading your book all week and completing the tasks as I go (quite frankly, I can’t put it down) and I feel so much more clarity behind my business now. I had a vision and a plan beforehand but it was all a bit wishy washy and chaotic - however I feel like I can stand tall, be confident in my business & I’ve learnt a lot about myself and my business.I have really enjoyed reading every chapter and filling in the questions that relate as you go through the book - it’s refreshing to not be told what to do but be prompted to write your own ideals and plans with the information you give out. I've been following Steph on social media for some time now. Her daily tips are invaluable for any small creative businesses out there, especially someone trying to navigate selling through etsy. I decided to take the plunge a few months back & purchase her book, and it didn't disappoint! The exercises made me reflect on what I really wanted my brand to be, and how to move forward with more of an organised plan. My confidence has also greatly improved, and I've been pushing myself to step out of my comfort zone. Highly recommend.

Essential reading for any business owner but especially crafters and handmade ones. Steph obviously really knows her stuff and delivers the info and top tips in a fun and easy to digest way.
