Really good air flow. quiet. good for cooling you off. many settings
I use this fan primarily for my drum room, which I have no A/C in since that would defeat the sound barriers I've set up. I only run the fan on its highest fan settings and it works pretty good for helping to cool my whole body off. I don't have to fool with all kinds of angles as I would with a floor fan. Someone else used it to sleep in a house that had a broken A/C and had good things to say about it. The fan has settings to mimic wind variations as if you are outside so that the air flow variably changes speeds, which I found interesting (though I didn't personally need that feature). The only thing I did not like was that there was not a spot to place the remote control, as in.... some kind of pouch on the AC unit; I can foresee many folks losing the remote control without some kind of built-in way to store it, especially for when it is transported. The weight on the fan is pretty good. It is a tower fan and works good for the personal use I use it for; I did not try to utilize it as an industrial fan to dry off a wet floor an wouldn't expect the fan to operate at that capacity. It does not target air into one small vent; instead, the fan sends the air current across a wide vector of air, which makes it ideal for cooling off a human body across much of your body surface, as opposed to a floor fan that has a nozzle to shoot air really fast that you have to constantly adjust at the right angle. Some folks think that fans reduce the temperature of a room. It may feel that way, but what is actually happening is that a fan swaps the hot air next to your skin for other air around the room which happens to be cooler than your body temperature. That's another reason I like this fan over a small floor fan; the width of the air current allows more surface area to do that air-swap across much of your body surface, acting as a super-effective cooling mechanism. I could see someone bringing one of these to their office cube at work, for those of you who have hot offices or other internal, chemical conditions that cause you to feel hot.

The fan works well, but it has room for improvement.
Pros:+It is quiet+It effectively cools down my room+The remote works very well and is simple to use+I really like the temperature display on the top of the fan (although it is too bright at night)+I like that I can set a timer to turn the fan off in a few hours.Cons (being critical):-The LED is very bright. It is so bright that I had to put a hat over the top of my fan. And when I did that, the remote stopped working because I obstructed the receiver. To be fair, this may be adjustable, but I wasn't able to figure out how to adjust the brightness if it is even possible.-While most of the fan seems to be of decent quality, the base has a very cheap feel to it. It seems a little bit fragile especially if I were to accidentally step on the base.-The different "Nature and Sleep Modes" seem a little bit clunky to me. In these modes, the fan is supposed to accelerate and decelerate to simulate a natural breeze or to ease myself to sleep. In theory it sounds nice to me, however, their is not a smooth gradient as the fan ramps from slow to fast or vice versa. I think for this to be effective, the fan would have to transition more smoothly than it does.

Very pleased
The Trustech oscillating fan is east to assemble, and lightweight. The fan itself does make noise (don’t they all?), but it’s nothing more than white noise. I have not had an issue with the noise being bothersome at night while sleeping. It’s not even an issue while watching TV. The wind features are great and the speed options are the normal low, medium and high. The amount of air on any of those speeds is excellent. I have seen reviews about the digital display being too bright ... I do agree with that, but it does not really bother me. It’s really nothing more than a nightlight. It would be good to have a dimmer option though. What I can’t figure out is the digital display number. People have commented that it is the temperature in Celsius. For me, that is impossible. My number fluctuates from 77 - 80. If I convert those numbers to Fahrenheit the temperature would be around 176 which is impossible. Maybe Trustech changed the temperature to Fahrenheit, but that can’t be right either. I have the air conditioner on, so there is no way the temperature in my room is 77 - 80 degrees. I keep it at around 70. It’s not a big deal, but it would be nice to know what the digital number is for. Overall I am very pleased with the fan.

The fan is very good. My AC has been getting rather expensive
The fan is very good. My AC has been getting rather expensive, and this fan has allowed me to turn the temperature up quite a bit while still remaining cool. When I can leave the fan on me at all times, rather than having it oscillate, I can even have the AC off entirely. As it uses much less power than my AC does, it will quite likely pay for itself in no time!I don't really get the point of the 3 wind modes. I tried them out, just having it stay continuous feels the best. Maybe it's personal preference, but the wind modes just feel like they go up and down in power, and I find that more annoying than nice, so I just leave it on the continuous mode.If I could give 4 1/2 stars I would, but I don't think it deserves 5 stars on the basis that there is a slightly annoying vibration noise when it swings all the way to the right. It's not a dealbreaker by any means, and if there is any other noise in the room, you likely won't notice it, but it's enough for me to not give it 5 stars. Also, my remote came slightly cracked. It still works perfectly, so it's not a problem, but it just doesn't look pretty.
