Sturdiest umbrella I've ever owned!
I have a tendency to lose umbrellas either through my forgetfulness or their inability to stand up to the windy weather we experience in WNY. This umbrella has been amazing. It has never turned inside-out and offers enough coverage to keep me dry. I love it so much that I'm afraid of losing it, which keeps me aware of it when I take it out. I hope I never lose it. I think I just might have to buy an extra --just in case. Highly recommended!

Seems to work fine mechanically
Not quite an auto retraction since it still takes 2 hands to fully close but it does allow you to step into a doorway or car with the large canopy collapsed. In other words you don’t have to stand in the rain to pull down the canopy.

NOT windproof-lasted < 1 min in Scotland
The umbrella is better made than most compact travel umbrellas but it lasted less than a minute in Scotland in heavy wind before blowing inside out.
