Cheap, excellent hardware, short software support life
This is a great phone and incredible value. It is on the large size and it fits in a shirt pocket, but not easily and could fall out, so consider if it is too large for you. It is awkward for me, an average size adult male, to hold and operate with 1 hand. It is extremely sturdy and has tremendous battery life. The sound is mostly very good, tho on occasion, when turned to full volume on speaker, there is a bit of an echo. I am hard of hearing so need to do this, most wont need it anywhere near this volume and wont have the echo issue. This has only been a small problem for me even so. The hardward on this phone is better in most ways than phones which cost 3-4x as much. There are 2 areas of concern with it. On rare occasion I have encountered 3rd party apps that will work on Samsung platforms but not on these, which can be annoying it is an app that is important to you. There arent many like that tho. The 2nd area is a larger concern, and that is the fairly limited software support that comes with the phone. I dont have the exact numbers, but its considerably less years of support (OS upgrades, security fixes, etc) than you get with a more expensive phone. There are slightly different versions available, but cost doesnt vary much.

Used Good looks brand nee
Bought the used-good Moto G5 for $144.20. Phone was in the original plastic wrap. The boxed had been opened and taped back. This phone is awesome and is an upgrade from Moto G Fast. No more running out of ROM like I did on the G Fast. The phone physical size is identical to the Moto G Fast and most of the controls and operations are the same. This phone will do everything most users ask and then more. I am 63 and figure this phone will last me for at least 10 years. Thr speaker is better than the Moto G Fast. I don't struggle to hear videos on it. The sensor took some time to recognize my thumb print but works great now. Camera takes better photos than I do. Phone camera and microphone can be shut off so no spying. Go into developer options and can shut down all sensors. I highly recommend and am enjoying this Moto G5 with 256 memory.

Adequate replacement for 2020 Moto G Power
Motorola stopped providing updates, including security updates, for my 2020 Moto G Power, so I felt obligated to replace it. This one, 128 GB in Ice Blue, actually cost less than what I paid for the 2020 model, which had less storage.Numerous junk apps like TikTok came pre-installed on this phone, but I was able to uninstall them and they seem to stay off (be sure to fully update phone *before* uninstalling/disabling, else they might return). I also disabled a lot of needless Google apps that can't be removed. Now that the extensive clean-up has been done, I now have a decent phone much like the 2020 Power G I had before -- simple and clean, works well with Visible (my cellular provider).Cons:1) The dumb two-line clock on the lock screen can be changed -- on Android 12L. However, this phone only has Android 12, so we're stuck with that gaudy 2-line lock screen clock. Fortunately we can choose a sensible clock for the home screen.2) The OS is a little slower to respond than my 2020 Power G, due to the slower chip (yes, incredibly, this phone has a slower chip than the 2020 model...maybe that is why this newer model was cheaper).3) Had to uninstall / disable a LOT of junk.Pros:1) Color (ice blue is a nice change from my old glossy black one)2) I'm getting security updates again...for awhile, until Motorola decides to stop providing them for this model too.3) Relatively inexpensive.4) Battery life is still good, like the prior model.5) A little thinner than the older model.

Great buy for the price update
This is my main phone. I've now had it for over a month. As you read on you'll see my impressions after 2 weeks. I just want to add, I am thrilled with this phone after over a month and lots of use. Battery is great, not two days, but a whole day. Everything about it very good. Of course, I don't know about longevity, but if this phone continues for a year or so as it is now it will above 5 stars to me. I've had this about 2 weeks. I tried 2 other phones and returned them without any hassle. Thank you Amazon. But this phone was under $200 and I'm very happy with it. The 6 gb ram is very efficient and the 256 gb storage is more than enough plus I get to keep photos and docs on an SD card. I don't play games beyond solitaire and gin rummy so a super phone with high end specs for sophisticated games is obviously not a priority. I read a lot so I'll have a book, dictionary, Wikipedia, email, and text open at same time and there is no lag when switching between apps. Photos are fine for me. Not and expert photographer so was not looking for phone to double as top of line camera. But photos are excellent for my standards. Screen is bright and clear. It has good receiver for phone calls, I'm on Tello. Calls are clear and not one drop so far. I have another phone other than Motorola that drops calls. I contribute the drops to the receiver unit in the phone. I have two Motorola cells and both have good receiver capabilities. Wifi is both 5g and 2.4g and again, great speedy connection. I use ATT wifi. I also use the phone to keep track of my steps. That's important to me. It is very accurate if that's a priority to you. Also it connects to my Samsung Galaxy Watch with no problems. The 6.5 inch screen is a perfect size for me. My only wish is that it were a bit lighter, but not as heavy as the Moto G stylus I also have. Overall, if you're looking for an above average phone with good battery life and under or near $200 I would recommend the Moto G 5g.

A good phone at a reasonable price
I am happy with this phone. It is not the latest and greatest, but works very well for phone and text and even news feeds. Very happy.

Gran opción gama media
Tras casi un año de comprarlo... Excelente procesamiento, gran precio...

Better than my old sumgsum a32 5g
Simple than my old sumgsum a32 5g, no need to create a sumgsum account. All features are easy to set. But can't stand three days, just two days then need to charge, normally it's not a problem.
