Shoes fit great- exactly what I expected. Im usually a 7 or 7.5 and I got the 7. Perfect height for me. I’m 5’6” and didn’t want too much height so the 2” heel is great. Relatively comfortable to walk in- I have a feeling after a while the ankle strap will bug me but that goes with this style of shoe I suppose!I bought both the taupe and nude patent (fourth pic has one on each foot). They were different shoes (different brands) but both comfortable. The taupe (Charlotte Russe) felt a little more secure on the ankle but the nude patent (Top Moda) looked higher quality and I like the shine. I’m keeping the nude because it goes with my light skin tone better!

These shoes look pretty but that’s it. I wear a 10 W and got these tried them on and knew they must be returned. Way too narrow for me. Sometimes shoe companies make regular width on the wide side not so with these I immediately went back on Amazon to return them and what an odyssey! They want the original ghetto beat up box They came in returned and further threaten that if the box is not with the shoes you will not get a refund. Now I have to look far and wide for a box big enough to hold these I’ll fitting shoes with the ghetto box they came in. What a nightmare not to mention that the shoes have zero support zero arch or padding and you have to pay your own shipping. Go to Davids bridal.com. Based on some other reviews, I ordered a half size smaller than my normal open toe shoe size. (Besides, they didn't have my normal size in stock.) They fit like a dream, are very comfortable, and I'm ready to dance the night away. They look like black velvet, the ankle strap has some elastic stretch to it, and the toe strap area is soft and does not dig into my feet. I tried similar styles in other brands but this was the only one that worked for me. My feet are very average, not wide, not narrow. The heel is high enough to look sexy and stylish and the block style adds lots of support. I would definitely recommend this brand for this style.

Ankle straps were too tight. Would have to fit another hole to make them comfortable. The main issue was the intolerable smell. It’s a plastic oil type smell which is so strong it’s on my hands after soap and water washing. The box and shoes can be smelled from another room. Can’t even imagine wearing these in public around people. They also clicked when walking. Not sure why but minor inconvenience compared to odor Cute style if you can get odor out and have thin ankles.

I thought this was gonna be like some fake leather or "rough" texture but its fuzzy velvet. Velvet shoes is a bit chonga for my taste but whatever. I did not think that was the material. I realize now that it is in the name but it did not look that way in the pictures. Otherwise, its a good regular shoe. Not good to walk in for long periods of time but its good for school and casual-professional wear. I use it a lot and its often my go-to black shoes for most occasions.

At first when I ordered these shoes I was worried that they would not fit/would look cheap. But, when I got them they looked VERY good quality and they weren’t broken and they fit me PERFECTLY. I absolutely love the color and the shoes look exactly like the picture. I am very happy with this purchase, also I normally wear a 7 1/2 or an 8 but I ordered a 7. So, I definitely recommend sizing down a little bit. Overall these shoes are great and they fit me perfectly and the heel is the absolute perfect size.
