The build quality is great and leather seems to be of great quality. The compound stick was a bit dried out so crumbles a bit over all it is great for the mony and does a great job on my various knives

It’s the best quality strop I have, and I have a few of them. You just have to decide if you want to pay for a nice one when simple works just fine. I like it, and it’s just right in size. The fit and finish is on point, even the leather fit and finish is good.

This is my first leather strop so I don’t have anything to compare it to. It doesn’t come with any instructions. I only put the green chromium compound on one side. I put my knives through my worksharp ken onion belt sharpener like usual, then put the knives on the strop. I was able to get them shaving sharp on the strop with out much effort, which is considerably sharper than I got with the extra fine belt on the sharpener. I was so delighted I barely have any hair on my arm anymore. Really pleased my knives are so sharp now.

And there it is!I found this strop after decent market research. This one has the best market value, trust me. Best components, craftsmanship, and compound combination.Red and green compounds will save you tons of time. You start honing on the red one and finish on the green. Red is rougher and green is great for finishing. But it would take an awful lot of time to get the same result with green only.This one is the best, after hours of research I'm happy.

I was disappointed in the size and weight of this item, particularly for the price. I admit that the dimensions were clearly stated in the description, but somehow I thought that it would be bigger and thicker. Tends to move during stropping.

Both side have quality leather where one side you use the red rouge and the other side the green rouge. The edges are all rounded and feel great in your hand. After sharping my knives spending a little time strapping the leather brings such a sharp surgical refinement on my blades. Made in the Ukraine where I pray God blesses and helps the Ukrainians to sustain freedom for generations come. One quality product.
